Letting go of Hope - Pastor Naeem Fazal
The Christmas season brings a lot of things: hope, peace, joy and love. But the holidays can also be hard: remembering loved ones who are no longer with us, trying to celebrate amidst the diagnosis of an illness, gathering among people in conflict. With all that we are carrying - mentally, physically and emotionally - how does the spirit of Christmas really help?
In week 1 of Advent, Pastor Naeem demonstrates the weight of hope and why we should put it down.

Building a Generous Family - Pastor Mike Smith
Every family has a bit of dysfunction but we can move toward peaceful relationships by asking a few key questions. In this last week of Generosity Gospel, Pastor Mike walks us the family language of 1 Thessalonians 5 to show how peace is possible…even around the holidays with extended family time!
We’d love for you to be part of our family. Please use the links below to reach out if you’re looking for the care of a family.

Remove the Leash of Money - Pastor Naeem Fazal
In week 2 of Generosity Gospel, Pastor Naeem explains how to know if money is your master, like a pet owner leading you on a leash. If not having enough money makes you anxious or critical of people who have an abundance of finances, this talk will help you get out from under the shame, deceit and control of money.
Through scripture, we see that when Jesus talked about money it was to teach us how to be good managers of what has been given to us, how to be wise investors for the future and how to be percentage givers from a posture of generosity.

The Generosity Gospel - Pastor Kristin Mockler Young
There’s a lot of stigma and negativity around the church and money. But the truth is, for Christians, generosity isn’t really about finances at all. Living a generous life is a response to the grace of God that we have been freely given through Jesus.
In week 1 of our series “Generosity Gospel,” Pastor Kristin uses all 4 gospel accounts of Jesus feeding the 5,000 to see the lesson Jesus was trying to teach his disciples - and us - through the miracle of multiplying 5 loaves and 2 fish.

Demon People - Pastor Naeem Fazal
There are a lot of varying thoughts on demons, angels and the supernatural. Maybe you’ve experienced things that can’t be explained, you’ve never really given it much thought or you don’t believe in things you can’t see. Regardless, we believe there is power at work in and around your life. There is even power that you can use.
Pastor Naeem celebrates his spiritual birthday by sharing a little bit of his story, moving from Islam to Christianity and how it’s connected to supernatural beings. This is a great message for anyone who wants to better understand what exactly is going on with satan, the devil, “the enemy" and demons.

Grace that is Grown - Pastor Naeem Fazal
Why does it seem like the closer people get to God, the less grace they extend to others? Sometimes the most spiritual people extend the least amount of grace. As we continue with Everyday People, Pastor Naeem uses the story of Jonah to show us the grace we’ve been given and the grace we need to give others.
If you have a hard time extending grace to people who don’t believe what you believe, who are progressing on a different faith timeline or don’t live out their beliefs the way you do (or the way you think they should!), this message will help you pass on the grace you’ve received. It just may also help you find grace for yourself in a season or place of confused wandering. You’re not too far astray.

Caring for the Least of These - Pastors Ashley and Naeem Fazal
Compassionate Generosity is a value that drives who we are and what we do at Mosaic. It opens our eyes to the needs of others and reminds us that God wants to meet those needs through our time, talents and resources.
Because Jesus’ gospel of love requires action, we came together for Serve Sunday to actively be a voice of hope in our community - and beyond - living out Matthew 25.
To hear how Mosaic is involved in outreach and missions both locally and globally, listen to Pastors Ashley and Naeem Fazal give a little history of What If Everyone and the partnerships Mosaic is part of. If you’d like to be involved in anything you hear about, you can send us an email or financially contribute to our outreach using the links below.

Gratitude: Seeing What Is. - Pastor Kristin Mockler Young
Gratefulness can feel like a checklist of things we’re happy to have (or we’re supposed to be happy to have). But choosing to be grateful and see the effect of Jesus in our lives is actually a choice - usually a hard one - that we have to practice making. Gratitude helps us to see what IS instead of what isn’t.
If you find it easier to complain, compare, compete or cancel other people, this message from Pastor Kristin will help you move from a perspective of looking at other people to seeing where God is already, always, moving in your life. Follow along with 1 Corinthians 13 and the story of Jesus healing the 10 lepers in Luke 17.

Forgiving to Love Well - Pastor Terrell Huntley
Forgiving people often feels hard to do. But forgiveness is necessary in the process of learning to love other people better. If we hold on to unaddressed hurts, it can lead to anger, bitterness, sadness and resentment.
In week 3 of Everyday People, Pastor Terrell Huntley explains why forgiveness is mandatory for followers of Jesus and how we forgive when it’s hard.

5 questions to Rebuild Trust - Pastor Naeem Fazal
Trust is complicated because you may trust someone to do one thing, but not another. When our trust is broken, we often carry that distrust into other relationships. It’s even possible to love people you don’t trust - which makes relationships difficult.
In week 2 of our series, Everyday People, Pastor Naeem walks us through 5 questions we can ask ourselves about other people - and about God - when it comes to determining their trustworthiness, and how we can love one another through our own healing.
