“Scaling from 0 to 200 Employees” w/Robert Hoglund Today on the show we have Robert Hoglund, a graduate of Hamline University School of Law, owner of Hoglund, Chwialkowski & Mrozik, PLLC, a Social Security Disability Law Firm.In today’s episode we’ll discuss the ethics of marketing and expanding your firm into new areas, phone consultations vs. in-person consultations, and splitting time between the firm and other businesses. Hacking’s Hack:Read 5AM Club- I’ve been getting up at 5 and its made a big change on my productivity and outlook.  Tyson’s Tip:Transferwise. Transferwise lets you easily pay virtual assistants when you’re not going through Upwork or a similar platform. Robert’s Tip:Hold your attorneys accountable with data and coach them on their weak areas. Keep your phone consults to 8-10 minutes-give them a reason to schedule an appointment.Confirm appointments 1-3 business days from the call. https://hoglundlaw.com/attorney/robert-hoglund/ For more content from us please subscribe to our Youtube Channel Don’t forget to sign up for MaxLawCon20! Thanks so much for listening to the show! “The Winding Path” w/ Pete Salsich

Today on the show we have Pete Salsich, an experienced intellectual property attorney whose practice is focused on advising large and small companies and entrepreneurs regarding the creation, protection and use of intellectual property, in both litigation and transactional counseling, particularly in the media, technology and entertainment industries. In this episode we’ll discuss leaving a big firm to start a smaller practice and the perception challenges involved, working in intellectual property and entertainment law, and creating a personal brand while working in a larger firm. https://www.capessokol.com/people/pete-salsich-iii/ Hacking’s Hack:Buy Dan Kennedy’s new book “Marketing to the Affluent”. The introduction alone is worth the investment. Tyson’s Tip:It’s summertime, we’re in the middle of June, things start to slow down, take a little time and sharpen the saw. Use this time to refine yourself and your craft. Pete’s Tip:If you don’t figure out a way to have your clients tell you about their business without charging them you never get the chance to find out how to help them see the forest from the trees. For more content from us please subscribe to our Youtube Channel Don’t forget to sign up for MaxLawCon20! Thanks so much for listening to the show! “Old School is the New School for Solo Marketing” w/ Jim Hart

Today on the show we have Jim Hart, owner of the Hart Law Firm, a divorce practice based in North Carolina. In this episode we’ll discuss hiring “empty-bucket” vs. “full-bucket” employees, Jim’s experience with Atticus coaching, and struggling with delegating and growing. https://jameshartlaw.com/ Hacking’s Hack:I’m reading a book called “Scaling Up”, talking about growth he said that once you reach 5-6 employees you have to start delegating things you are not good at, but once you reach 10-15 you have to start delegating things you are good at. The thing that the entrepreneur is the best at becomes the weakness because the entrepreneur doesn’t want to let go. Tyson’s Tip:Take a 4-week vacation, disconnect from the business, and enjoy the vacation. It forces you to get your systems in place so that you can take this kind of vacation. Jim’s Tip:We all have CRM’s we use, something that I’ve done is I use Less Annoying CRM just for managing referral relationships, separate from the CRM I use for my potential clients. For more content from us please subscribe to our Youtube Channel Don’t forget to sign up for MaxLawCon20! Thanks so much for listening to the show! It’s important to read about your practice area in general. Tyson’s Tip: During the summer we tend to get lazy. Look at it as a fight. Think about how it will make you feel to win that fight, and how it will feel to lose that fight. Don’s Tip: We use Ecamm Live for all of our live-streaming needs. You get lots of extras like lower thirds, comments, and other features you only get with a service.https://www.ecamm.com/mac/ecammlive/ Edith’s Tip: Check-in to your business on social media when you are there physically. “Law Firm Breakups and Staying Sane” w/ Guy DiMartino

Today on the show we have Guy DiMartino, a former chiropractor physician turned healthcare law litigator. We’ll discuss law firm breakups, systemizing multiple practice areas, and running offices in completely different regions of the country. Hacking’s Hack:  I had a very interesting conversation with Kent Richardson about consistency and follow-through when it comes to content creation. If you put it out there that you’re going to do something and you’ve fallen off, recommit yourself and reconnect with why you were originally doing it. Tyson’s Tip: Storage companies have a great way of getting reviews. They give you a postcard and have you fill out your comments and review their experience. Just the physical invitation is extremely effective. Guy’s Tip: Read “If You Want to Get Rich Build a Power Niche” by Bruce Statchenfeld. Guy’s Podcasts:http://www.thepersonalinjurylawpodcast.com/http://www.chiropractic-lawyer.com/   https://www.amazon.com/Want-Rich-Build-Power-Niche-ebook/dp/B07K5KHGTG https://www.michigancityinjurylaw.com/ https://gsdimartino.com/ Make sure to register for MaxLawCon19, June 6 and 7 in St.Louis. For more content from us please subscribe to our Youtube Channel Thanks so much for listening to the show!
