Happy New Year! Welcome Back to P. B. & Style

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I’m happy you’re back to the first official episode of P. B. & Style. I have so much to share and while I was editing this podcast episode, I realized I actually forgot something.  I’ll get to that in a minute.  For now, I hope you had an amazing time with family, friends, and community over the holidays.  I know I did. Before I took my little holiday vacay, I mentioned in a couple of episodes, my system for the end of the year… how I plan, review, and revise my business efforts. While taking time this year, I found quite a few areas I wanted to adjust. In this episode, not only am I wishing you a happy new year, I’m also sharing the 4-1-1 about what’s going to be happening around hear.  I. NEED. YOUR. HELP to pull it off though… Now I can share the thing I left off in the podcast: REVIEWS!!!! B. & STYLE!!!  See how that works! Anywho….. HAPPY NEW YEAR! I look forward to your comments below and your reviews.. remember, when you leave one, it could be chosen for a mention on my Youtube channel and my IG feed/story during next week’s episode!!! Don’t be left wondering what in the world to do next in  your business or for your business… Reach out to me! I’d be happy to do a 30 minute discovery call with you FOR FREE!  My goal is to help as many people as possible in 2020 and it starts with a simple phone call.  Are you ready?  I am.. The Reverse Engineering of My 2020 Focused Vision

The time is upon us to start thinking about those resolutions for the new year (if you’re THAT person).  I personally don’t set resolutions, I set GOALS… Every year I sit down and think about the personal goals I have for myself and my family.  Unfortunately, much like those resolutions I’m so careful NOT to set, I have been guilty of not following through (more so for those family things because it takes a lot to wrangle the members of my family to be AND stay on the same page).  Well, this year I’m adding a little something to my planning phase to make sure I stick with my journey and achieve the focused vision for my personal and family goals in 2020.  I’m reverse engineering them!!! You’ve heard me say this many times, “Start with the end in mind” and that’s what I’m doing. I’m taking my own advice and applying it to my personal goal setting process this year.  Here’s what I mean by a focused: EXAMPLE GOAL:  Workout before I start my day REVERSED ENGINEERED: Morning routine (including workout) takes up about an 1.5 hours Must get Jessica ready by 8:15 am I need at least 7 hours of sleep each night. It takes 20 minutes to get Jessica ready Must get up by 6:00 am Must be asleep by 11:00 pm I’m looking forward to the productivity I plan to enjoy in 2020.  This year it shot up through the roof!!  LISTEN to this week’s podcast for more on how I accomplished this feat and hear what’s else is a part of my reversed engineered focused vision for 2020. I have something fun to share… I’m bringing back the blog!!!! Starting in January, I’ll be sharing the behind the scenes of my own entrepreneur journey by looping you in on the way I keep it in the road with my work/life balance approach AMD answer some frequently asked questions about the way I navigate my approach to personal branding and authentic marketing.  I’d love to have you along for the ride.  Take a look at my previous BLOG posts.  I’ll be taking a less wordy approach with the reboot and would love to have some more FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS to draw inspiration from.  Leave a comment below with things about my personal branding application, workflow, processes and ideas you’d like to know more about. In order for me to do all of this, I had to get clear about my VALUE and then learn to be okay with it, walk confidently with it.  If you’re struggling in this area, grab my HWY 8 VIDEO SERIES.  This road to your inner influencer will help you get the clarity you need to start walking in your purpose with intention.  Its an absolutely FREE MINI COURSE!!! How To Plan A Year End Wrap Up For Your Business

It’s the end of the year and time to start thinking about what’s coming.  Like a lot of the content I’ve shared this year, we have to START WITH THE END IN MIND.  In this particular case though… the end we should have in mind is something even better than what we have right now. As the quote says: “Those who don’t know history are destined to repeat it” ~Edmund Burke When it comes to planning your year end wrap up, you have to consider the possibilities of lost opportunities and the reasons they were lost.  The wrap up should also take into account the year’s wins and tracing your steps to find ways to duplicate them.  All of this is your brands history.  Good, bad, or indifferent… without the knowing it, you’re destined to repeat it. I mention setting goals in this week’s podcast.  One of my favorite taglines from my chamber networking group comes from a financial adviser.  She always ends her 30 pitch with, “A goal without a plan is just a wish”.  Wishing, hoping, dreaming all require ACTION, PLANNING, AND INTENTION to lead to the desired result. Listen as I share some ideas for executing the perfect plan for your year end wrap up.  Use my gift below to help you make next year the BEST EVER! How To Get and Sustain An Audience with Personal Branding

Are you struggling with getting clients?  Do you feel like you are constantly on the search for the PERFECT client?  When you think about social media management or marketing in general do you get the hives…lol?  Well, Bruce Springsteen seems to have a similar problem.  You know if someone as well know as THE BOSS is struggling, it’s not uncommon.  Doesn’t if feel good to know you’re in such good company? Follow along as I tackle one of Bruce’s quotes that, in my opinion, makes a pretty good case for personal branding. He says: “Getting an audience is hard. Sustaining an audience is hard. It demands a consistency of thought, of purpose, and of action over a long period of time.”  I’m dissecting this quote to show you how all of these challenges can be met and conquered with personal branding. Don’t continue to struggle with the stress and overwhelm of growing your business. Learn to use WHO YOU ARE to activate authentic change in the way you do business. REGISTER FOR MY FREE MINI VIDEO SERIES! Feel like you have another TERM to use that reflects my definition of personal branding BESIDES “Personal Branding”.  I’d love to hear it! I realize graphic designers use it to describe the visual imagery of your business, I understand your stylist may use it to describe the attire you choose for yourself, but IT’S SO MUCH MORE and should be used as a VERB….. the action your personal brand takes to achieve the forward motion and goals necessary to succeed. IF YOU CAN COME UP WITH ANOTHER WORD/TERM…. TWEET ME @andreafpatrick using the hashtag #PBVERB  The post How To Get and Sustain An Audience with Personal Branding appeared first on .

How to Out Shine The Competition with Systems and Workflows

If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that being prepared and having contingencies planned makes the entrepreneurial hustle much easier. According to an article in Entrepreneur.com, coming up with innovative solutions to your special problems is a best practice for entrepreneurs.  With systems and workflows, you have a better chance of understanding what’s NOT working for your business and catch it early enough to create those INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS.  In another article from Business News Daily about BEST PRACTICES for entrepreneurs, “The most important thing for small business owners to realize is that a piecemeal approach to marketing is now a death sentence”.  If you have systems and workflows, you can avoid the “Disjointed marketing efforts, or those that focus heavily on one channel while neglecting others” because they “…are destined to fail in a hyperconnected world.” The consistency that happens with systems and workflows makes your social media strategy clear, helps content creation be more cohesive between social media platforms, and allows you to connect all efforts back to your website.  This is how to ensure your advertising echos the messages you’re promoting with your content marketing. If you’d like to learn how to create authentic systems and workflows, I have a Master Class called: “How to Make More Strategic Decisions Guaranteed To Grow Your Business: w/ My 3 Secrets To Using Your Personal Brand More Effectively” REGISTER HERE! You may be ready to get started creating your systems and workflows but you aren’t quite sure how to start.  That’s okay too.. I’ve got you! I created a Workflow Worksheet to guide your thinking as you create workflows for reoccurring tasks in your business.
