The Fundamentals of Women Empowerment

Today we are talking women empowerment! Neiki Jones is my guest.  She had a dream to build a unique outreach organization committed to recognizing, nurturing and supporting leaders of the past, present, and future. Her vision was realized with the launch of A.L.A.Y.A. Ministries a 501 © (3) organization, dedicated to helping individuals who are struggling with identifying the purposed leader buried deep within them. Her personal struggle with self-worth resonates with many young women and men in our communities today. Neiki freed herself from the bondage of self-doubt and built this organization to share with everyone three basic principles that will liberate, heal and deliver the leader in each of us.  The three basic principles are Embrace, Empower and Exalt. Women empowerment is the topic of this podcast. Social media is an a Achilles heal for many because of fear, mistakes made, and a lack of understanding.  When you look at the number of marketers talking about “Pay to play”, “building community”, “Click through rate”, “Search engine” and more it’s no wonder people are running for the hills AWAY from social media. If you’re like me, you’ve made mistakes testing paid ads or paid subscriptions to make social media more efficient.  Knowing it requires a BUDGET to promote your business on social media, makes making mistakes one of those “paralysis by analysis” situations that takes us back to FEAR. Have NO FEAR… Help is on the way.  In this episode, you’ll learn: My 2 BIG take always from this episode Which social media platforms are best for long form writing Which social media platforms I believe are best to showcase an extroverted personality How to USE a social media platform for research even when it’s not a platform for exposure A lot of what I talked about in this episode requires you TRULY understanding your unique value.  If you find you’re not quite there yet, that’s okay. The next few weeks I’m doing a series called, “Black Women In Business”.  I’ll be talking to women who have successful businesses and they will be sharing entrepreneurial journey’s and the obstacles they faced as black women in business.  I’ll be sprinkling a few solo episodes in there (because I am one of many black women in business…lol), but you’re in for a treat with the interviews I have lined up.  With it being the beginning of the year, I thought my first interview should be with someone who focuses much of her content on reinvention. She’s a fellow podcaster too. In the world of podcasting, the name of the game is to speak your truth. My guest today not only speaks her truth in her own podcast, “Her Business – Her Voice – Her Conversation”, but she also shares her tips and knowledge about HOW you can do the same through the act of reinvention. In addition to being a podcaster, Margo is an award winning author.  Her book, “Her Business Her Voice Her Reinvention”, was launched in 2017 and shortly followed by an anthology – “Women Inspiring Nations” launching in January of 2018. Margo has appeared in many publications, including The Huffington Post. Her energy is contagious, that’s why I’m so excited to talk with her today. Listen to our conversation and hear how, with a change of our mindset, we can reinvent ourselves and get to what we truly love in life. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: What REINVENTION requires. How you may know a reinvention is a good idea What Margo means by “identify relevant opportunities and content for your connections” Where to begin the reinvention process Common mistakes made when one decides to reinvent themselves Margo’s special offer for you What bad beliefs prevent people from seizing their reinvention opportunity The relationship between a personal reinvention and one’s entrepreneurial journey CONNECT WITH MARGO:  LinkedIn Twitter Facebook BOOK A CONSULTATION FOR SPECIAL OFFER: https://margolovett.com/consultation-appointment/ If you liked this episode, you should listen to these:  https://andreapatrick.com/podcast/pbstyle/process-pivot-plan_leadership/ https://andreapatrick.com/podcast/pbstyle/manifest-your-dreams/ SUSBSCRIBE TO MY PODCAST ON iTUNES SUBSCRIBE TO MY PODCAST ON SPOTIFY LEAVE A PODCAST REVIEW/COMMENT  The post Black Women In Business – Margo Lovett appeared first on .
