CLARITY IS THE KEY To Productivity If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll see… clarity is extremely important to your ability to be productive.  Productivity, no matter how you look at it, won’t happen unless you put some skin in the game. It won’t happen if you aren’t willing to ACTUALLY get up and do the work. At the very least, you have to be CLEAR about your goals if you plan to achieve them. Clarity is key   I'm sure you've heard the quote – If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there . If you feel totally at ease and like you’re distanced from possible danger or making mistakes, you working in your comfort zone.   Based on this definition of “Comfort Zone”, it is quite possible to have both a positive AND negative affect on your ability to grow a successful business.  If the actions you take on your entrepreneurial journey are based on feeling comfortable, you may miss out on the things that can take your business to the next level. Vulnerability is the antithesis of a comfort zone. Dr. Brené Brown says, “Vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage… When we shut ourselves off from vulnerability, we distance ourselves from the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives and our work.”  In my opinion, the best way to determine your comfort zone is to construct a personal framework.  This framework is a lens through which you can look at EVERY situation you encounter in your business. Your Success Formula Is the Method to Your Madness Missing the Mark?   Here’s what I’ve learned… You can have a method to your madness but a success formula won’t work without the topic of today’s podcast. This particular topic is definitely what makes webinars so powerful, marketing campaigns so successful, and brings harmony to your life. An expert can give you every single piece of the success formula, but it won’t work for you until you add a special sauce. The experts will tell you what it is but no one really listens. The typical method to the madness is to be frustrated because you feel like the formula doesn’t’ work. The problem isn’t the formula… it’s that the formula doesn’t work without YOU!!! It’s time to adjust the method to your madness! I recently started reading a book called, “The Power of Habits: Why We Do What We Do In Life and Business”, by Charles Duhigg.  I’ve only just begun, but the information has already been helpful.  Our method to our madness is basically a HABIT and when it’s no longer working we have to make a change.  This book offers insight into the best way to make that change.  What struck me about this idea was how much the success formulas given weren’t enough to actually achieve the success people were looking for.  They had to add a personal touch.  In this episode of The C.E.O.
