EP 105: How I 10x'd My Income And Found My Purpose With This 15 Minute Per Quarter "Energy Audit"
I was recently in Toronto at a Mastermind where one of the exercises was the 10-minute tactic, which is to come up with a framework and my 10-minute tactic was actually the winner. But, I had sorta a head start. I've been using a similar framework within my quarterly tasks that I call the "energy audit". This framework only takes about 15 minutes per quarter to fill out, but it has taken me from doing things that sucked 75% of my energy to the exact opposite. I now spend somewhere near 75 or 80% doing things that give me energy and happiness. These are the tasks that are built around your unique abilities and build up your happiness and income. I was recently a guest on a podcast called the with Chris Cooper. Chris is the go-to business mentor for gym owners and more specific, Cross-Fit. EP 102: CarrotCamp Spring 2018 Mountain Edition
CarrotCamp Spring 2018 was again unlike most events. It was an opportunity for campers to immerse themselves with the knowledge of some of the nations' largest home buyers. It wasn’t a workshop or seminar, nor was it a retreat. This was a time to strategize as well as brainstorm with some high, high-level investors. We also took the time to unwind while hiking to area waterfalls as well as a mountain biking excursion. Camper then got the opportunity to work one-on-one with our team to get massive things done to uplevel marketing… all the while building relationships with other high-level real estate entrepreneurs that will hopefully last a lifetime. I thought it would take more time than it's worth. And yet, here we are. :slightly_smiling_face: I'm glad I started because I would never have made it to episode 100 if I hadn't done episode 1 or 3 or 5 or 50. In other words, life is a journey, business is a journey, and podcasts are a journey. Whatever you've started or dream of starting, this episode is dedicated to you, as a reminder to start and stick with it until it's finished. As they say, "Nothing ever finished that wasn't started" and "It ain't done til it's done." So here's to the start of many things and the continuation of many more. EP 99: The Value Of Having Optimized Websites For Real Estate Agents with Connor Steinbrook
I'm driving in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona right now recording the intro for this podcast. I'm down here for 10 days with my family on vacation and I also fit in a day of work as well. If you guys go back to the episode that I recorded that is called , that's something that I'm always doing. That's one of the biggest things I can attribute any success I've had is to planting seeds with people. You know I see a lot of opportunities, a lot of potential in someone or working with someone and even if I think it's completely out of reach for that person to work with me or for them to change what they're doing, or I just have no clue how we're going to work together but I know that there's a quality person that wants to. I plant seeds in a very specific way. It's turned into business partnerships, it's turned into amazing things. Now we're nearing episode 100 and I'm crazy about that milestone. Of hitting 100 podcasts because when we launched the Carrot Cast, I didn't know what it was going to be. I didn't know if it was going to be, you know, 20 episodes, 25 episodes or if we were going to stop at 50, 100, 1000, I don't know. And I still don't know when and where this podcast is going to go specifically. But what I do know is we're going to continue to deliver things that inspire you. Continue to do, deliver things to help you be a better entrepreneur. To help you get more freedom, flexibility, grow your finances so you can have more impact in this world. And, today's podcast episode is a recording actually from one of our clients, but also an amazing investor and agent Connor Steinbrook from his podcast. I've been on Connor's podcast a couple times and the first time it was on the investing side of things and this time it was on the agent side of things. He's growing a really, really, really fast agency right now with EXP Reality and it's just amazing what he's doing in his business, it's amazing that so many of our other clients are doing on the agent side in addition to the investment side. So he interviews me about how agents can leverage Carrot, and how agents can leverage content on the web to grow their businesses better. So hopefully you pick up a couple tips here if you are an agent and you have your license. We have some really cool case studies coming up with other clients that are crushing on the investor side of things as well as crushing on the agent side of things. So keep an eye out for those as. I had such an amazing chance to interview him, one of my favorite books of all time, it's one of the simplest books ever but I've given away hundreds of copies of this book over the years to people because it's such a simple concept but it's so life-changing when you actually adopt it in your day-to-day. We've adopted it fully here at Carrot as a business. We've always lead with giving, we've always lead with value. We've always really lead with, how do we make sure our clients and our market and your audience are the ones winning? And when that happens, we'll build trust, we'll build so much value that will, in the end, win, also.
