Ballistic vs. Static Stretching (Why I Never Statically Stretch Athletes)
Sports is ever evolving from our practices, to hydrating, to equipment etc. So why do we still have old practices like static stretching before practice, training, & competition? In this episode I lay out some reasons that I don’t statically stretch my athletes before training. Not only does static stretching before training, competition etc decrease your performance but it also sends the wrong signals to the body. Ballistic stretching warms the core and primes the body for movement and competition. So why has this not become a phenomenon? I hope this episode helps athletes, coaches heck everyone to become better. As always remember do what legends do and BE LEGENDARY.

Isometrics & Why You Should Add Them To Your Workouts
Over the years, plyometric and HIIT style workouts have taken over while isometric movements have become less popular. Isometrics have great benefits from getting past sticking points, to better muscle recruitment, and even some hypertrophy benefits. I would advise adding yielding isometrics to each one of your lifts, and if you’re looking to get stronger I would advise adding overcoming isometrics to your routine. I hope this episode enlightens you, and helps bring back isometrics into your routine. Remember, get 1% better each and everyday, and BE LEGENDARY.

Let Your Passion Drive You
Passion? They say if you follow your passion, then you’ll never work a day in your life. Well, that’s true but to a certain extent. You see we all have a passion to do something in this life to drive towards a higher mark, something that will fulfill us. But, we have to have a drive to stay there and get to the level we want to get to. It’s not just about waking up, going to work, going home, and sleeping. It’s about really doing something worthwhile, that will bring happiness and impact the world. Life is to short to just live and die. Now I can’t tell you it’s easy to follow your passion because sometimes it’s not but it is worth it. Follow your dreams and see where it goes. Live it, breathe it, and love it, and follow the path that life takes you. BE LEGENDARY.
