Having a healthy mindset is key to running a successful business. In business (especially as online service providers), we tend to surround ourselves with people in our industry that inspire us. Sometimes this can lead to comparison, a bit of jealousy, just general sadness, or some actual low points in our business journeys. Unfortunately, too much comparison can lead to things like undercutting yourself because of the emotions that you're feeling at that moment. Hello, 2022! As we roll into this new year, I really believe that there are two types of people; goal setting, diary buying, new year resolutioners, or the more pessimistic people who wholeheartedly decide that a new year doesn't mean too much and isn't going to change very much. I know what one I am, and I know that one year I made that decision to just do the damn thing! (start my biz) and it was that moment and determination that got me to where I am today.
