Listen to that “Still, Small Voice”
Is there a “still small voice” giving you pause today? A character issue in your child? A concern for your marriage? A “small” sin issue that’s gradually getting bigger? Don’t ignore something because it seems inconsequential. You can avoid costly relationship repairs by making sure you act at the first sign of trouble. Don’t procrastinate—investigate! ***Find links and more at HeidiStJohn.com***

Good Roots, Good Fruit
As a mother, I like to think of myself as a bit of an arborist. Arborists are basically tree doctors. I’m basically a kid doctor. Right? Anyway. Arborists are awesome. They’ll come in and inspect your tree, let you know if it needs to be pruned, and suggest things that will help you keep your trees healthy. Healthy trees need pruning—just like children. Notice a bad attitude? It’s time for some loving pruning! Watch for any sign of infection. Make sure they get the right amount of sun. Healthy trees need good soil. So do healthy children. The “soil” a healthy child needs is the rich soil of the Bible. Water daily with prayer and then watch for good fruit. It may take time, but keep at it! **Find links and more at HeidiStJohn.com***

On The Other Side of Sorrow
Noble Alexander was born on February 12, 1934 to Cristobal and Beryl Alexander in San German Oriente, Cuba. He served as an assistant pastor in Cuba from 1959-1962. On March 20, 1962, after preaching a sermon on the origin of sin, he was ambushed and taken to prison where he was tried and convicted of conspiracy to assassinate Fidel Castro, the Communist leader of Cuba. At issue was his sermon, which security forces interpreted to be a veiled reference to Castro’s regime. Noble served over 22 years in prison where he endured hard labor, starvation and lengthy time in solitary confinement. Listen in today as I answer questions from listeners and encourage you to hang in there. For the Believer, JOY is always coming. Don’t give up! ***Find Links and More at HeidiStJohn.com***

God’s Blessings are Inside God’s Boundaries
Like many of you, I am in the role of a spiritual example and teacher to my children—and God takes it seriously. He views us as His representatives—He has given us the honor of being His ambassadors. Leviticus contains a lot of rules and regulations that are no longer in place because of the death and resurrection of Jesus—we have been set free from the law—but it’s important that we understand how serious God is about living in a way that honors Him! Do you want God’s blessing? Live in a way that honors Him! ***Find more at HeidiStJohn.com***

With God, All Things are Possible
The story of Jesus’ encounter with a rich man offers us an incredible insight into the heart of human beings. When the disciples how the rich man could not leave his riches to follow Jesus, they rightly thought of their own inward struggles. They were absolutely right to ask Jesus who in the world can be saved, in light of their own sin and selfishness. Jesus answered by famously saying, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God!” Don’t forget to catch the debates tonight! ***Find links and more at HeidiStJohn.com***
