Kids are usually more aware of the evil in this world that we give them credit for. There are plenty of opportunities for them to get a glimpse of evil, from magazine covers in grocery store checkout aisles to the images of real-life tragedies that are constantly present on the news and online. Today, I am in a posture of prayer as I pray for this nation that I love so much and for the Church, whose reputation has been so badly bruised in the past several months. Covid has exposed a massive weakness, but by God’s grace, we will see the fruit of God’s grace and mercy as we adopt an attitude of repentance and a desire to walk with God has His own “set apart” people. If we are going to be victorious in the battle between good and evil, we need to know our adversary. Satan’s name reveals much about his character. The title Satan is used fifty-two times in the Bible.
