Toilet Radio 548 – The Dawn of Ouroboros Episode
This week on Toilet Radio: Jordan sits down with Chelsea Murphy of atmospheric black metal act Dawn of Ouroboros. Join as the two talk about David Lynch, recording music for Doom, musicianship, and the band’s excellent new release, Bioluminescence. But before all that, we’re talking about more ER horror stories, Tool deserving their horrible fans, and a washed-up 80s hair metal guy losing his fiancee while aboard and 80’s hair metal cruise.

Toilet Radio547 – Megachurches of England
THIS WEEK ON TOILET RADIO: Iron Savior is boycotting the Untied States, first by cancelling a scheduled appearance at Prog Power USA. We talk about the BEEF between the UK Church and Plague of Angels. THEOLOGY! Belushi Speed Ball, known for dumb publicity stunts, has another dumb publicity stunt. Bobby Liebling and Pentagram had a moment of vitality this week, hope they savor it when they go right back into the dustbin of mediocrity next week. We talk about David Draiman’s desire to collaborate with one of the most popular artists in the world – join us next week as we try to get Timothy Chalet to join us as a third mic on the podcast. Finally, DJ Marshmello played a few seconds a slam song and surely it’ll change the face of death metal. Folks, it’s a good one.

Toilet Radio 545 – The Guitar You Like is Coming Back in Style
This week on Toilet Radio: Machine Gun Kelly made guitar cool again. Apparently Fieldy hasn’t been in KoRn for 6 years and we Ask Questions about the evangelical hold on all of these guys. Oceano is mercifully breaking up and to commemorate the event they’re stealing art from artists and acting stupid about it. SOD is getting back together for a reunion show, minus the fat nazi that originally fronted the band. Sleep Token have a new novelty thing, great. Finally, we look at the latest lineup for the corpse of Warped Tour. Folks, it’s a good one.

Toilet Radio 544 – Showering in Ill Niño’s Bus
This week on Toilet Radio: Zheani, an Australian musical artist(?) rented a shit-caked bus from the guy from Ill Niño and now she’s alleging fraud! Let’s investigate. Furnace Fest is BACK, this time with the Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza. Zany! We take a look at prices for the upcoming final Ozzy/Black Sabbath performance and compare it to recent rich guy only fests. The bassist from Killswitch Engage has caught one of the hardest strays of all time and now has to explain that the artwork on the new album that he spent months creating, is NOT AI-generated. Finally, Danzig and Slayer are done making new music. Let’s analyze that. Folks, it’s a good one.

Toilet Radio 543 – The MAIN VEIN
This week on Toilet Radio: Matt Pinfield suffered a huge stroke, let’s talk about stroke prevention and care. Ozzy is gearing up for one last ride with Black Sabbath, let’s talk about the end of several eras. You all took our advice and absolutely flooded Nevermore* with audition tapes, thanks guys. Destruction is going all in on AI with the backing of Napalm Records. Kane Roberts has gravely disappointed me by doing an inane sexy vampire/fuck robot AI “metal” project, and The Sword are back, again? It’s a good one.

Toilet Radio 542 – JESVS IS A DOODY
This week on Toilet Radio: Munky from KoRn has his own AI-generated fragrance thanks to something called Reference Times. Good lord. Jered Threatin is BACK and he may or may not be dying. Let’s take a look at the latest stunt from Threatin on his path to superstardom. Ol’ Nergie is back with “THE SHIT OV GOD”, Behemoth’s latest attempt to shock someone, anyone. Finally, Grand Belial’s Key and some other hoople heads attempted to play a secret show in Detroit and got their shit shut down. Score one for the woke mob. Folks, it’s a good one.

Toilet Radio 540 – Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music?
This week on Toilet Radio: We sat down to watch a little-known 2004 documentary on Christian heavy metal, Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music. We went in blind and we were pleasantly surprised by the scope of voices, hard-hitting questions, and nuanced responses offered in this documentary. In addition to Zao, Demon Hunter, and other well known Christian bands, you hear from Pansy Division, Steve Albini, and a host of lapsed as well as true believers. We even hear from son of disgraced televangelist Jim Bakker. Hot damn! Can’t stress it enough: this movie is actually good and actually worth your time if you have any interest in 2000s evangelical youth culture, the pairing of Christianity and right wing politics, and the business of Christian music. Folks, it’s a good one. Want to watch the documentary? It’s free on YouTube.

Toilet Radio 539 – XP Farming Castle Rats
This week on Toilet Radio: We’re going through the most excellent lineup of this year’s Hell’s Heroes, a celebration of old school heavy metal going down in Houston this spring. We’re also getting into the audacious response Steffen Kummerer of Obscura had for former members accusing him of stealing riffs without credit. New vid dropped of Tim Lambesis abusing his dog and his ex-wife accusing him of domestic abuse; he is who we’ve always said he is. A blast from the past: Upon a Burning Body and King 810 are touring together. What year is it??? SeeYouSpaceCowboy lost their vocalist because the rest of the band just had to jump on a tour with the abusers/laptop thieves in Dance Gavin Dance. Finally, Exodus switched vocalists again to the overwhelming apathy of everyone. Folks, it’s a good one.

Toilet Radio 538 – Drum Theory with Justin Foley of Killswitch Engage
This week on Toilet Radio: Insect Warfare is BACK (in the worst way possible). Ronnie Radke and Alex Terrible are using the abject misery of the LA fires as inspiration for the worst song you’ve ever heard. Obscura ripped off a former member by using his music on their new album without credit, receipts included. Whoops! Also on this show: Jordan interviews Justin Foley of Killswitch Engage to talk about the possibility of going jazz odyssey on the new album, getting together to write new music after a long break and a global pandemic, and getting a Master’s degree in percussion and trying to write music with musicians that don’t know theory. The guys also talk about recording metal songs off the radio onto a cassette and the continued pleas for Blood Has Been Shed to play shows again. It’s a good one, folks.

Toilet Radio 537 – Pickleballin’ with Nile
This week on Toilet Radio: This week: Chris Kael of Five Finger Death Punch tries his hand at standup / Karl Sanders had his faith in humanity restored by pickle ball / Patrick Mameli of Pestilence has been quietly simmering with rage about light pushback he received for using AI album art and now he’s gonna make it your problem / Nevermore* is coming back and Jeff Loomis failed to loop a few folks in about that. Let’s all send our Warrel Dane replacement audition tapes in right now / The new All That Remains album is gonna be called Antifragile, is surely not another softboy metal core album about being a sad, middle-aged man / We take a look at the lineup for Milwaukee Metal Fest 2025 and argue over which bands should be placed higher on the billing. Folks, it’s a good one.
