FFF: Instagram Cull
Hello slay kings and kweens and welcome back to fast fire Friday... This week, on Train Wreck Tuesday, I spoke to my beautiful friend, kween Sami Rose, where we divulged how it really feels to get trolled on the internet. Spoiler - it doesn't feel good. So firstly, thank-you so much for all of your amazing messages. I'm honestly obsessed with Team Train Wreck. And secondly, today, Sami is back, but this time we're going to lighten the mood a little bit, because like, it's Friday - and getting through work on a Friday is hard enough. https://www.instagram.com/samirosefitness/ @samirosefitness

Marie Kondo'ing Instagram
Thou shalt remember, to discard everything in life that no longer brings you joy Whether it's old clothes, toxic relationships or the biggest of all, the bathroom cupboards, that are generally packed to the rafters with 347 half empty fake tan bottles - nothing feels better than spring cleaning your life of the things that no longer serve a purpose. While these kinds of culls are usually reserved for physical items, this week, I'm proposing we extend it to the decluttering of digital items too... https://www.instagram.com/samirosefitness/ @samirosefitness

This week, I chatted to Ciaran Lyons about dating publicly and broadcasting your life quite literally, for hundreds of thousands of people to hear. Because this episode was pre-recorded when I was in Melbourne a few weeks ago, I didn't get a chance to do Fast Fire Friday questions... but have no fear, because my audio producer Tiffany is here to step in and save the day. This fast fire Friday, I'm answering all of the questions you guys have about behind the scenes of twenty something train wreck...

Broadcasting break-ups
Thou shalt remember, that what doesn't kill you, gives you content When it comes to careers, each of us possess a very specific skills set that complements our chosen profession. For some, like lawyers, it's negotiation and persuasion. For others, like doctors, it's practical skill and ability to work under pressure. And then for us... creative broadcasters and content creators, it's our vocal range and ability to tell a compelling story... no matter the cost... @ciaranlyons @twentysomethingtrainwreck

Why Men Love 'B's
Thou shalt remember, treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen When it comes to self-help books, there are very few proverbial stones I've left unturned. On my quest to try and rerail the life I've spent the last 29 years derailing, I've turned to help from the literary likes of The Secret, The Barefoot Investor, The Subtle Art of not Giving a...., The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a...... (it's low key ridiculous the amount of ...... I have to give) and who could forget... Eat Pray Love. The OG basic 'B' bible. My emotional instability, coupled with my unwavering positivity, means I fall for self-help books faster than I fall for boys. So imagine what happened when I found a book that combined the two? Ahh spoiler - a brilliant bloody episode... that's what!

Guilty Pleasures LIVE
RECORDED LIVE at Melbourne Comedy Festival 2019 Thou shalt remember, that if you're going to suffer the guilt, make sure you enjoy the pleasure. When it comes to pleasures, I've come to realise that we tend separate them into two very distinct categories. Our pleasures, and our guilty pleasures. Our pleasures are those things we talk about openly and passionately, in a boarder line brag-worthy way. The double F45 class you smashed before work, the charcuterie boards you made that your squad insta'ed and the mountain you climbed at 5am on Sunday morning because you were feeling hashtag blessed. But our guilty pleasures, are those slightly more unorthodox quirks that we're a little more hesitant to disclose about ourselves. You know, listening to Ce La Vie by Bewitched on repeat while on the step machine, watching Buffy re-runs in the middle of the day and popping black heads with the back of a bobby pin in the car, while you're waiting for the lights to change. But despite how cringe these quirks may be, the pleasure they bring in the moment, far outweighs the guilt. Especially the blackhead one, like honestly get amongst it. So today, I propose we drop the guilt from our guilty pleasures, and get comfortable with our cringe. But I can't do it alone...
