Advice: Girls vs Guys

Thou shalt remember, that there is no such thing as a silly question   When it comes to advice, mine is kind of like popcorn... always take it with a grain of salt. And this week, take it with two grains of salt, because it's time for some more - girls vs guys advice. Back by very popular demand, this week I'm replacing the usual big chick energy, with big dick energy, by bringing back one of my most popular guests of all time, Tom Murray, to delve deep into the mysterious workings of the inner male mind...  Follow Phoebe on Instagram @phoebeacp or join the Train Wreck Podcast Community Facebook group.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Hangover Cures

Thou shalt remember, that the best cure for a hangover, is being under the age of 25  When it comes to hangovers, I used to consider myself somewhat of a pro. All it took was a 20-minute nap and a sausage roll, and I was ready for round two. But these days, waking up after more than 3 savy b's requires a 45-minute sit down shower, a Valium and and 2-3 business days of minimal human contact. So to minimise the risk of any future pain my beloved savy b might inflict, I decided to be my own guinea pig and test some of the strangest hangover cures recommended by you... my loyal listeners.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Hormones with Nat Kringoudis

Thou shalt remember, that there is no force more powerful than female hormones  When it comes to hormones, I've shared my struggles with you once or twice before. And at the ripe old age of 30, I thought that I'd be off the emotional rollercoaster by now. But if you still find yourself morphing into a hormone casserole once a month, then a.) you're so not not alone sis, and b.) you're actually in luck. Because this week, I caught up with the woman who claims she can help make our hormones happier than a Pharrell Williams song.  Honestly, how do I even begin to explain the powerhouse that is Nat Kringoudis. Nat is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, author, speaker, podcaster and all round natural fertility specialist, who also founded the Melbourne based Women's Health Clinic, The Pagoda Tree. I was lucky enough to have first met Nat about 7 years ago, and in that time I've learnt so much from her, and I absolutely know that you will too.  Just before we get started, just an FYI that there is a lot of information in this episode, so before you even ask, if you want to know more about Nat, I've popped all of her information in this weeks show notes, so please go ahead and check out her website or follow her on instagram.  Follow Phoebe on Instagram @phoebeacp or join the Train Wreck Podcast Community Facebook group.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Single do's & don'ts with Jana Hocking

Thou Shalt Remember, that being single means you're strong enough to know what you deserve  Dating is just like trying to assemble Ikea furniture. Except unfortunately and inherently inconveniently, there's no Swedish instruction manual that tells you what to do when the boy whose family you're supposed to spend Christmas with breaks up with you on facebook messenger with absolutely no explanation. Put yourself out there - they said. It'll be fun - they said. But lucky for you, I've lived through more than my fair share of heartbreak, so much so, that I now class myself as somewhat of an expert on the dating front. Or so I thought... until I met this weeks guest Jana Hocking. Jana is a radio producer, podcaster and columnist who I swear I was separated from at birth. Having been a single slay queen single life for 7 years now, Jana is as well versed in dating as I am. So we decided to take everything we've learnt from our combined heartbreaks and turn our mess into our message by answering some of your most commonly asked dating questions.  Jana is honestly one of the best humans I've ever met and if you want to check out more from her, I've popped all of her information including a link to her own podcast Sex Love and Dating in this weeks show notes.  Follow Phoebe on Instagram @phoebeacp or join the Train Wreck Podcast Community Facebook group.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mental Health with Dr Travis Kemp

Commandment #113 - Thou Shalt Remember, that mental health is your greatest wealth  When it comes to health, we all know the importance of the physical side, and have no qualms smashing through our F45 classes and Nourish Bowls on the daily, because we know that it's good for us.  But on the other hand, far too often we neglect the non-physical side - also known as the phycological side, which truth be told, requires just as much, if not even more work than the physical side. Yes dolls, I'm talking about mental health - a topic you all know sits very very close to my heart, and admittedly, one aspect of my health I ignored for way too long.  Let me put it like this. In the same way we'd hire a Personal Trainer to help us get stronger muscles, a psychologist or mental health professional is designed to help you get a stronger mental muscle. And just like physical strength, which you must consistently work on to maintain, mental health is exactly the same.  But don't just take my word for it, take Dr Travis. I'm so excited to to introduce you to this weeks guest, Dr Travis Kemp, one of Australia's leading psychology practitioners, who drew upon his 30 plus of industry experience to help explain the importance of staying on top of you mental health through a global pandemic. As well as answer some of the questions you guys sent me through. I try not to be bias with my episodes, but I think this one turned out to be one of my favourites... Travis is a registered Psychologist with area of practice endorsement in Organisational, Exercise & Sport and Counselling Psychology, an internationally accredited Coaching Psychologist, a Certified Human Resources Professional, a Chartered Manager and an experienced independent Company Director and as a result, Travis brings a rich diversity of understanding, competency, capability and insight to leadership, commerce and enterprise.
