Darin has a diverse background as a CPA, software sales executive, capital markets, loan trading, business owner, to multifamily syndication. He shares about the run-up to that first deal, including finding the perfect partner – someone more experienced from whom he learned a lot and who gave additional credibility to the deal. He also walks us through the process of starting out with passive investment to active investment by becoming a deal sponsor.Denise Piazza started both passive and active investments across multiple asset classes. Then she developed a passion for multifamily space and pursued a more active role as GP. In this episode, Denise details four things that have helped accelerate her transition from passive to active.
