Acquiring $14 Million in Toronto Real Estate with Sahil Jaggi

In E040, Sahil Jaggi speak of his journey from immigrant to Investment Banker to sales rep to realtor who has acquired $14,000,000 in real estate. Sahil immigrated from India at the age of 18 and went to university at Wilfred Laurier university here in Ontario. Sahil started working as an investment banker in New York City but realized that he did not want that lifestyle and came back to Canada. He proceeded to buy his first property at the age of 24 and continued to acquire more and more and occasionally sell properties to continue to grow. I encountered Sahil because of an article from Toronto Life Magazine that was sent to me earlier this year. The article was talking about how an immigrant has come to our country and acquired 10 properties. Needless to say he has been productive since then since he is now at 14 properties and 21 doors. He primarily invests in bungalow properties that he can acquire between $600,000 and $800,000 in various neighbourhoods of Toronto, Etobicoke and Scarborough. Passive Real Estate Investing in Private Equity with Rav Toor of Everyday Investor

In E039, Rav Toor shares his story of going from bring kicked out of three high schools, getting into acting and sharing sets with Mark Wahlberg, Daniel Craig and the like and then getting into real estate as a realtor, investor and television personality (Rav hosts Everyday Investor on CityTV which airs on Saturdays and Sundays). Rav has been investing since he co-oped at a real estate brokerage in his late teens and is just always making things happen as a perpetual 'deal-maker' I've come to know Rav as an intelligent, accomplished and prudent investor and a guy who just likes to have 'fun' with business. He loves a deal, loves to practice his faith and preach about Christianity and enjoys connecting with genuine people. Rav's current strategy for wealth creation and investing is 'Land Development' where he partners with developers and helps to fund the acquisition of development properties and passively holds an interest in it for 3 to 5 years. Rav gives an example on this podcast of how he invested in a project that earned 45% return per year but generally performs around 20% annually. Deal-Making for Zero-Down Real Estate Acquisition with Shawn Rea

In E037, Shawn Rea gave an update of what he's been up to since he appeared in episode E020. In only about 4 months time Shawn has made multiple more moves and adjusted his strategy to include even more BRRRRs, including the kind where he pulls ALL of his money back out to be in for ZERO and still keep the property. His current strategy is now including an AirBnB component in which he is acquiring duplexes and renting out one side normally and the other side as short term rentals right off of the beach. I really do think this is a 'best of both worlds' strategy with excellent contingency options in case he's not able to make as much moeny as he'd like with his first venture into airBnB. Shawn's got great energy, a great attitude and a clearly limitless potential as a real estate investor and teacher. It's a true win-win-win the way that Alfonso proposes it because he is always looking out for this tenant buyers, his investors and of course, his own companies profits too. For those new to rent to own, this is where you find a person with 'bruised' credit that has good income and is looking to buy a home. These people won't qualify for a bank loan just yet but with a bit of time and an appropriate 'credit rehab program', they could get there. Accelerated Real Estate Investing Growth with Michal Wach

In E033, Michal Wach digs into his current duplex conversion in which he's projecting to make 48% return on investment. He also discusses his 10 year journey in real estate investment that just wasn't moving as quickly as he wanted to. Michal explained to me that when he got himself a real estate investor realtor that showed him systems and a relevant, current approach that was working, his progress started to accelerate greatly. Michal attributes his ability to move much quicker in investing and to an extreme focus on networking and listening to podcasts. Through doing so he realized that there were creative strategies that he could implement to refinance and pull money out of each of his rental properties so that he could buy more. Flipping 100 Houses with Ease – Jon Schoeller

In E031 Jon Schoeller gives an update on what he's been up to since E014 back in April. Jon talks shop in this episode by breaking out the numbers on one of his recent deals where he and his wife earned 18,000 on their passive investment in his investment company in only 3.5 months. On the active side, Jon runs the company with his two partners as a full time job and is constantly putting winning deals together.
