81 - Elantris - Chapters 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41
Six chapters this week, and some interesting stuff happening. Sarene is thrown into Elantris, and it's generating a lot of theories among our crew about what direction this is all going to end up going. We're approaching the final stretch here, only 4 episodes left in this book after this one. So let's take this ride together on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

80 - Elantris - Chapters 32, 33, 34, and35
The last episode we recorded for a while, but for you all there should only be one week, next week, with no new episode. The King is dead, long live the - wait, who's going to be king now? Join us as we try to figure out where the heck any of this is going. Hrathen was an Elantrian and then he wasn't. Sarene is engaged. Again. And Raoden is going to ... explode or something? Who knows. Certainly no one on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

79 - Elantris - Chapters 26 - 31
Six chapters this time around, and some serious stuff happening for the crew to sink their teeth into. What exactly does this poison do that Hrathen has taken? What will the extended consequences of his entrance into Elantris be? What will be the fallout from Sarene and her confrontation with Iadon? So many things happening here, and all of it just raises further questions, as Hermes would say. See what our Sanderson newbies think of all the excitement on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

78 - Elantris - Chapters 23, 24, and 25
I have to apologize for this one, all. The fates were against us. Joe had to skip the episode, and then my computer died in the middle of recording the intro. So I recorded the rest from my phone, and it doesn't sound amazing. I did what I could in the edit, but it wasn't much. Interesting chapters, fun discussion, it's just not up to our usual audio quality, and I'm sorry about that. Enjoy Dac and Jaymee being awesome as always, Joe recorded elsewhere and elsewhen, and Data sometimes sounding like he's at the bottom of a well on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

77 - Elantris - Chapters 20, 21, and 22
Back to 3 chapters this week, and everyone is very interested to see our three separate stories begin colliding a bit. We've reached about the halfway point this book, and everyone can sense that things are really starting to fall into place. The final gang leader is revealed, and Sarene reveals herself to Iadon (not like that). All this and Old Man Joe on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

76 - Elantris - Chapters 18 and 19
Our last two-chapter chunk for this book. The crew is outraged by Dilaf and his unauthorized attempt to burn an Elantrian. Then they're amused by our meeting with Hrathen's good buddy, Forton the potion maker. He's a heretic, a hypocrite, and loves doing drugs, a triple threat, really. After that Raoden makes a discovery about AonDor that has the crew optimistic that maybe some magic will show up in the book after all. All this and a list of things Duladel is famous for on this episode of The Sanderlanche!

75 - Elantris - Chapters 16 and 17
Jaymee is back this week! And we're so excited about it that I think we went a little crazy on this episode. It's a long one. Everyone thinks that Raoden is maybe having too easy a time of it as he converts his second gang in these chapters. At the same time out crew is very interested in all the character developing Sarene gets in her section. Finally, we're confronted with the age-old (ok, maybe not that old) question, would you rather be a Skaa or an Elantrian? Find out our answers on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

74 - Elantris - Chapters 14 and 15
Sarene attends a party in these chapters, and the Hrathen takes a walk. It's more fascinating than it sounds. Lots of little tidbits get dropped in these chapters that our crew wants to know more about. Sarene is going to teach the women how to fence? The Fjorden monasteries train secret assassins? Zapp Brannigan works for Iadon? And then it devolves into a mixture of references to DBZ and DBZ abridged. So ... yeah, that happened on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

73 - Elantris - Chapters 12 and 13
Hrathen is preaching and Raoden is on a bit of an adventure in these chapters. Meanwhile, the Sanderlanche crew is excited by how much information is being revealed. Some predigments are panning out and others have been shattered on the unforgiving shores of the plot. Beyond that, this installment is a big one for diversions, distractions, and deviations. Find out what I mean on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche! (Not sponsored by Jeff Goldblum) ... (yet) ... (call me, Jeff, we'll work something out)

72 - Elantris - Chapters 10 and 11
Raoden and Sarene chapters only this week, and while something does feel a bit missing, not knowing what Hrathen has been up to this time, Sarene in particular has given the crew plenty to talk about on this episode. Raoden is starting a new gang, and Sarene may be kind of doing the same thing. What does our crew think of the political maneuvering going on in Arelon in these chapters? Good question. Maybe it will come up on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!
