Things really took a turn for the worse in these chapters. It's been exactly a day since Roial died in the previous set of chapters, and if you thought that was bad, you ain't seen nothin' yet, my kayana sules. If something bad could happen, it's happening here. The magic is back! The crew is very excited as Raoden finally finds the solution to the puzzle of how to fix AonDor. Then things really start to ramp up. People die. Identities are revealed. Things. Are. Happening. It looks like it we have firmly entered the Sanderlanche at this point. The only thing left to do is hold on for dear life on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

Seven chapters this week, but surprisingly little actually happening it seems like. Some tantalizing possibilities arise regarding the true cause behind the Reod. So our crew gets a chance to revisit that question, the question the book started with, actually. Why did Elantris fall? And Hrathen converts a nation. It's just that easy. Don't know what all the fuss has been about this whole book, really. But is it maybe a little underwhelming with how easy it was? Sarene is thrown into Elantris, and it's generating a lot of theories among our crew about what direction this is all going to end up going. The last episode we recorded for a while, but for you all there should only be one week, next week, with no new episode. The King is dead, long live the - wait, who's going to be king now? Join us as we try to figure out where the heck any of this is going. Hrathen was an Elantrian and then he wasn't. Sarene is engaged. Again. And Raoden is going to ... explode or something? Who knows. Six chapters this time around, and some serious stuff happening for the crew to sink their teeth into. What exactly does this poison do that Hrathen has taken? What will the extended consequences of his entrance into Elantris be? What will be the fallout from Sarene and her confrontation with Iadon? So many things happening here, and all of it just raises further questions, as Hermes would say. I have to apologize for this one, all. The fates were against us. Joe had to skip the episode, and then my computer died in the middle of recording the intro. So I recorded the rest from my phone, and it doesn't sound amazing. I did what I could in the edit, but it wasn't much. Interesting chapters, fun discussion, it's just not up to our usual audio quality, and I'm sorry about that. Back to 3 chapters this week, and everyone is very interested to see our three separate stories begin colliding a bit. We've reached about the halfway point this book, and everyone can sense that things are really starting to fall into place. The final gang leader is revealed, and Sarene reveals herself to Iadon (not like that). All this and Old Man Joe on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

Our last two-chapter chunk for this book. The crew is outraged by Dilaf and his unauthorized attempt to burn an Elantrian. Then they're amused by our meeting with Hrathen's good buddy, Forton the potion maker. He's a heretic, a hypocrite, and loves doing drugs, a triple threat, really. After that Raoden makes a discovery about AonDor that has the crew optimistic that maybe some magic will show up in the book after all. Jaymee is back this week! And we're so excited about it that I think we went a little crazy on this episode. It's a long one. Everyone thinks that Raoden is maybe having too easy a time of it as he converts his second gang in these chapters. At the same time out crew is very interested in all the character developing Sarene gets in her section.
