Gratitude In The Japanese Culture From A Jamaican Woman's Perspective - Naudia (ep. 641)
Naudia is a courageous and inspiring woman who seeks to encourage and empower others towards a more grateful life, she also empowers female trauma survivors by teaching them how to create abundance through gratitude.I referred to her unique perspective in the title, but there’s so much more about Naudia and her gratitude practice that we can learn from, I know I did. Resources:https://www.instagram.com/rawsoulgratitude/https://rawsoulart.comhttp://georgianbenta.com/abundanceFrom the interview:"Finally understanding the depth of the Japanese gratitude because take for example the work environment there is, at the end of the day they say: THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK. Somebody will see you on the street coming home from work and they say thank you for your hard work, somebody will see you going to work and they say thank you for your hard work because there's a sense of community in that whatever you go out to do, transcends to me in some way shape or form. If you're a teacher, you're helping the Japanese kids become more globally aware and become more fluent in a language that they can use in their future. If you go and you work on a construction site, you're building infrastructure in our community and you're helping us become more modern there's a state of constant gratitude because everybody plays a role of significance in each other's life."Experience more abundance on georgianbenta.com/abundanceAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

No Running Water & Electricity For 4 Years & Still Grateful - Naomi Sodomin #blackvoicesmatter (ep. 640)
This is not a new episode, but it’s to this day one of the best interviews on the podcast. Naomi is such an inspiring example of thriving in spite of a tough upbringing. She managed to find gratitude even in the most difficult situations while living in the inner city and overcoming abuse, poverty & racism. I believe in the light of recent developments it’s important to honour inspiring people such as Naomi because her story can inspire all of us to become more empathic & appreciative. As a former Registered Nurse with fifteen years of critical care experience she has mentored hundreds of newly-pinned student nurses helping them build confidence and develop the skills necessary to succeed in their demanding career where life and death hang on every decision. She rose to the top of her field and managed to create a beautiful marriage with a terrific attitude of gratitude. Just listen to her passion you'll definitely feel there's something there, in her story, that can bring a positive shift in your own perspective and life.“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.#blackvoicesmatterResources:Get Naomi's book: https://www.amazon.com/Embrace-Mirror-Vision-Abundance-Stronger-ebook/dp/B077W2S3JPGet your Lumen: Use the code gratitude25 to get $25 off at https://lumen.meSave the Children: www.savethechildern.org/savekidsBlack Lives Matter: http://blacklivesmatter.comExperience more abundance on georgianbenta.com/abundanceAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Showing Our Appreciation Before It's Too Late - Chris Palmore
Chris Palmore is a gratitude creator and the founder of Gratitudespace.com.Inspired by the voice of Podcaster Adam Corolla he wrote a gratitude letter to his mom on his birthday. Shortly thereafter, he posted it publicly on Facebook. At the time, he could have never guessed that 4 short months later, his mother would be dead from cancer. He was devastated! This act of gratitude hugely impacted their relationship prior to her untimely death and created an even deeper lasting impression when it was read at her funeral. From there, and based on his own experience with the power of gratitude, Chris set out to assist others with their own gratitude experiences by writing letters to loved ones on the writer’s birthdays. He then launched his first website, Letters of Gratitude as a way to share the letters. Next, he set out on “The Punching Depression Tour” where he met with groups and gathered gratitude videos all along the West Coast beginning in Seattle, to San Francisco, to Los Angeles, and finally finishing the tour in Las Vegas. It was during this trip he was inspired to launch Gratitudespace.com because his original idea of collecting letters had become much more along the journey as he witnessed how gratitude affected people. This led him to interview top podcasters like Lewis Howes and Georgian Benta. He also interviewed Top-selling authors like AJ Jacobs and Paul Boyton and famous filmmaker and Poet, Prince Ea. He’s engaged many celebrities and even has a gratitude video with Jerry Springer! His passion is Reading, Sharing, and creating the spark of “What am I grateful for,” in others. All of the content Gratitudespace creates is made with the single hope of creating that spark. He believes everyone has something to be grateful for and they are just waiting for someone to ask.To get the thyroid test just go to: https://georgianbenta.com/thyroid-test and use the promo code GRATITUDE20Experience more abundance on georgianbenta.com/abundanceAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

How To Want What You Have & Enjoy Inner Peace - David Trotter (ep. 636)
David Trotter is an author, speaker, transformation coach, and host of Inspiration Rising, a podcast dedicated to inspiring women (and the men who support them) to rise up in life, love, and leadership. For over 25 years, David has helped people get unstuck, clarify their goals, and take their lives to the next level through his leadership, speaking, writing, and filmmaking. David and his wife, Laura, have been married for over 25 years and live in southern California with their two almost-grown kids. From the interview:"Wanting what I have. For me that is that is the key to gratitude and that may not be a very unique way to describe it, I don't know. A lot of people might think of it that way but that for me that's what that's what unlocks the Gratitude in my brain and in my heart. It's not to say that I can't desire to have other things or pursue other goals. But if I want my wife, if I want my kids, not somebody else's kids, if I want my clients, if I want my podcast, then I'm thankful, right? If I wanted your podcast, then I'm not going to be thankful, right? You didn't mean I'm always going to be striving and not feel at Peace."Resources:David's website: http://davidtrotter.tvTo get the thyroid test just go to: https://georgianbenta.com/thyroid-test and use the promo code GRATITUDE20Experience more abundance on georgianbenta.com/abundanceAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
