How Can I Get Myself Out Of Thinking Negatively - Jeremy Ryan Slate (ep. 729)
At 19, Jeremy tore three major ligaments in his knee and had what was supposed to be an easy surgery. Turned out not to be so easy and after being out for three days, he received last rites from a priest. This should have been a life-changing event for him, but it wasn’t. He went on to receive his masters degree in ancient history from Seton Hall University, studied literature at Oxford University and graduated into one of the worst job markets in history. Jeremy Ryan Slate started the Create Your Own Life Podcast In late 2015. He was struggling as an entrepreneur then but due to hard work and determination his life very quickly took off. Living A Miracle - Dave Sanderson (ep. 725)
Dave Sanderson is an entrepreneur and a survivor of the most famous plane landing in history. He even had a small role in Sully (the movie about the event). Dave is an inspirational survivor, author and former head of security for Tony Robbins. His thoughts on leadership, business & survival have made him an internationally sought-out speaker. When US Airways Flight 1549, or “The Miracle on the Hudson,” went into the Hudson River on January 15, 2009, Dave Sanderson knew he was exactly where he was supposed to be. The last passenger off the back of the plane on that fateful day, he was largely responsible for the well-being and safety of others, risking his own life in frigid water to help other passengers off the plane. Dave shares how this experience has changed his perspective on life and on gratitude. Nancy Stevens is Mom to 4 sons age 14, 16, 23 and 24. She is married to a Grammy award winning music producer. Becoming a more grateful and an everyday grateful person began when she took her first yoga class and the practice of being grateful through mindfulness was introduced.
