#066: Learning To Let Go with Emma Tait
When I was asked to speak on grief, I knew immediately Emma Tait would be the ideal guest for this show. Emma Tait is the driving force behind much of Create The Love, she not only keeps our team together but so much of my life too. Emma walks us through the essentially undefinable path of grief. In her gentle but clear way, she shows us how the answer is found in accepting there is no answer, that sometimes the only way to make sense of life is to see there is no making sense. Emma shares her personal story of loss and how much she has learned to surrender to grief and pain, and in doing so, letting it move through - allowing it to come and go - rather than becoming stuck in the storyline. If you are trying to make sense of any kind of grief this episode is full of lessons for you.

#063: Bringing Cheating Out of the Shadows with Connor Beaton
Not only is Connor Beaton the creator of ManTalks, he is also one of my closest friends! This week Connor joins me to discuss all the things men don’t usually talk about. Connor shares his journey of living with lies, how he hid so many parts of himself, lied about his failing career, and cheated on previous partners to find external validation. We dive deep into the shadow, that is -- the aspects of ourself that we are ashamed of and/or reject, and we look at how hitting rock bottom is often the starting point to finally telling the truth. Once we begin to see and speak the truth, there is no going back. From perpetual liar, to avid truth-teller, Connor proves that ‘once a cheater always a cheater’ is a shame-based myth.

#062: The Shame Train with Jules Webber
All aboard the shame train! Join my dear friend Jules Webber and I on a special extended episode this week all about shame. We dive right into the parental, societal and religious origins for feelings of shame. Jules bravely shares her own experiences of shame at every age of her life, ranging from her early childhood memories of suppressing her true self, to later pledging abstinence with a religious authority, to her first sexual experience and the intense shame around sex as a woman, then to her recent divorce after a 10 year marriage. There are tears, laughter and endless insights about the universal human experience of shame, and our need for connection and belongingness with our community and most importantly within ourselves. Whatever your religious beliefs might be, this episode is a must-hear.

#060: I’m Not Breaking, I’m Awakening - Solo Episode
I am sharing my personal episode this week from the very edge of my truth. Life, to me, is best spent on the edge of what we know. The juice is found in the space that is outside of the familiar. I’m at currently at the edge of what my mind and body knows, the edge of grief, the edge of acceptance and surrender. When what we think we know is brought into question, the truth is realized. I’m still realizing... a lot. This week I invite you to join me into this awakening, and everything that comes with it. As Rumi says, “The wound is the place the light enters you.” Welcome to it all.

#058: You Are Not Your Story - Solo Episode
Your story does matter because it shaped you, but it is not who you are. Join me on a solo journey this week as I shed some light on how Create The Love came to be. Create The Love was born in part by my break down that came from the ending of a relationship. Rock bottoms are a chance to meet ourselves, and I was called in that breakup to break away from the social conditioning and pressure to 'fit in'. Over time, I have gradually learned to continue to let go of the life that I was taught to want and in doing so connected to my inner truth. That truth is, I don’t want to live behind masks. Love is not scarce, it is everywhere, and it is up to us to create it and cultivate it. In this episode I share some of the events of my childhood, teen years and early adulthood and reflect on how they shaped my journey. I go deep into how I learned to sit with and learn from painful experiences and emotions and invite you to do the same. Lastly, I want to thank you all for being such an important part of this journey and for joining me in creating the love together.

#057: What Masks Do You Wear? with Selina Gray
Selina Gray is an epic friend of mine who opens up on her journey to dropping the mask. Selina grew up with that feeling of being “not enough” due to both her mother’s criticism as well as not feeling "wealthy". Becoming a hustler early on meant Selina achieved huge financial success but found herself trapped within the mask of having it all. She found herself surrounded by money, labels and “success” but felt no meaning or connection. This week we discuss how Selina dropped the mask, how her body finally said no, and how she stepped into her truth to create Money Boss.
