#080: The Edge Of Uncertainty - Solo Episode
“Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans,” John Lennon’s famous lyrics are so apt for the uncertainty we are facing in the world. So much of what we thought, planned, or hoped for has been quashed by the reality that nothing is ever truly certain. This epidemic has brought up so many fears, anxieties and responses. I want this episode to explore our humanness but also acknowledge that jumping into spiritualizing can be a bypass of the uncomfortable reality that this pandemic is doing real harm to so many people. While we are both physically distanced and living with this uncertainty, our community and our connections are so important. I hope this episode leaves you feeling more connected.

#077: Embracing Change with Yung Pueblo
I am so honoured to have Diego Perez, the writer and philosophical genius behind the pen name Yung Pueblo on the show. Diego and I discuss all the delicious ways that life is an array of constant change. As individuals, couples and communities we are in constant flux. The ways we either embrace or avoid change say so much about the way we find peace and grace during change. How can we embrace the messiness that is inherent to the constant change of life—while protecting our boundaries and having an open heart? There is so much to unpack on both the global and individual level. Let’s dive into it.
diego perez is the writer behind the pen name yung pueblo. the name yung pueblo means “young people.” it serves to remind him of his ecuadorian roots, his experiences in activism, and that the collective of humanity is in the midst of important growth. his favorite word, liberation, took on a deeper meaning once he started meditating vipassana. through writing and speaking, he aims to support the healing of the individual, realizing that when we release our personal burdens, we contribute to a global peace.

#074: To Stay Or Go - Solo Episode
What happens when you wake up and realize you aren’t happy in your relationship? What if you feel like you’re outgrowing your partner? What if you’re outgrowing your old life? As we go deeper in our journey toward our inner truth we often find that our old patterns, habits and relationships need to shift. This can bring up a lot of anxiety and tension especially if we have had codependent patterns. Part of our healing is learning how to honour our growth while navigating our relationship with others. Part of our healing is leaning into the discomfort and uncertainty that comes up when we let our relationships shift, change and maybe even end.
