Idaho School Lockdowns with Lt. Shawn Harper
Lt. Shawn Harper is a police officer with Meridian PD and worked to formulate school lockdown protocol in Idaho. The thought of violence on school campuses is horrifying, but after hearing him talk about what law enforcement is trained to do and what I, as a parent, should and SHOULD NOT do was incredibly important and comforting. Legislation to Preserve Idaho Farm Life with Braden Jensen
Braden Jensen works for Idaho's Farm Bureau. Last year the bureau advocated for and worked with legislators on a bill that would offer incentives to farmers and land owners that would allow them to get benefits of temporary commitments towards preserving land. There are some larger incentive programs for preserving agricultural land that are permanent, but the Farm Bureau is also looking to present an option that isn't forever. Protecting the Children of Idaho on the Internet with Vic Dominguez
Vic Dominguez is the executive director of the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Coalition, a non-profit based group dedicated to educating both Idaho law enforcement agencies as well as Idaho families. Crimes against children on the internet have exponentially grown over the last decade, and aside from that being an obvious problem, law enforcement trails in learning how to detect, investigate, and prosecute these crimes as the crimes are constantly changing and evolving.
