Greg Timinsky is the Chief of the Star/Middleton Fire District. That particular area of Idaho has grown at a breakneck speed, spreading basic services like Fire to a point where the citizens will have to decide if they are interested in maintaining services and accepting an increase in property taxes or if they'd prefer to have slower responses and less service but also have a lower tax rate. Kala Golden works with the Idaho Water Resource Board and its cloud seeding program. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the science and processes Idaho goes through to ensure the safety and efficacy of the program. Joseph Palmer is the assistant superintendent of the Vallivue school district. He has become a champion for all students and families in his district and was instrumental in bringing in community members and law makers to show and explain Vallivue's need for additional funding. Rod Beck is one of three Ada County Commissioners and Hyrum Erickson is a republican Precinct Committeeman from Rexburg. Both agreed to come engage in a long format debate regarding Prop 1. Rod Beck was a main driving force that led to closed primaries in Idaho in 2011, and Hyrum Erickson is a republican that enjoys the republican majority in our state legislature but feels the structure of our elections is leading to a non representative legislative body. Dan McKnight has served in the United States Marines, Army, and National Guard. He is part of an organization called Defend The Guard, which focuses on state legislation that prevents the US Congress from deploying our National Guard servicemen and women in the absence of a declaration of war.
