20210708 Nicole Sandler Show - Thu with Howie Klein and Lucas Kunce for MO
It's a Thursday, so Howie Klein of Down with Tyranny and the Blue America PAC is here. And since we're already in election season for Nov of 2022, he occasionally brings along candidates endorsed by Blue America. Today, we're joined by Lucas Kunce, who's running for the Senate from Missouri, for the open seat being vacated by the retiring Roy Blount. In the first half of the show, we'll look at some of the news, including the US finally leaving Afghanistan after 20 years, and more.

20210707 Nicole Sandler Show - Anti-Trust, Monopolies and Matt Stoller
The former guy today filed lawsuits against Facebook, Twitter and YouTube/Google. His suit is nonsense, but Big Tech has some big problems, and Matt Stoller has been writing about them and the larger issue in his BIG newsletter and his book, "Goliath: The Hundred Year War Between Monopoly Power and Democracy". Matt Stoller makes his first appearance on today's show.

20210706 Nicole Sandler Show - Tuesdays with GottaLaff
Today marks six months since the Capitol Insurrection by supporters of the twice impeached former guy and sadly, little has been done to insure nothing like that ever happens again. A hurricane is off the Florida coast, and over 100 bodies are still buried underneath a collapsed building on the other side of the state. Covid's Delta variant is on the rise across the globe, and the heat has killed hundreds of people in the Pacific Northwest and Canada. I could go on, but you get the idea. Sometimes you just gotta laugh. Hopefully we will do that today.

20210705 Nicole Sandler Show - A Conversation about Peace with Yossi Klein Halevi
Last month, as hostilities between Israel and the Palestinians were raging, I attempted a conversation with someone with whom I had great difficulty finding common ground. I realized that he was the wrong person to attempt a dialog about achieving peace in the Middle East, as he was all to eager to assign all of the blame to one side. So I kept exploring, looking for someone who was willing to look at life through the other side's perspective. I came upon some information about Yossi Klein Halevi who, among many other titles, wrote the book, "Letters to my Palestinian Neighbor." As I read, I realized that this was who I needed to speak with. Yossi Klein Halevi is an American-born Israeli author and journalist who has opened a dialog with his neighbors in the region. I'm thrilled that he joins me on the show today from his home in East Jerusalem.
