20210715 Nicole Sandler Show - Thursday with Howie Klein
It's Thursday, so that means Howie Klein of Down with Tyranny and the Blue America PAC. Today, we'll get Howie's take on the major stories we've been talking about this week, including the House Judiciary Committee's markup of the package of 6 antitrust bills. Plus, who's in line to succeed Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House? It's not very pretty... And more!

20210714 Nicole Sandler Show -Wednesday Words of Wisdom with Digby
We've been on a roll lately, discussing some important issues facing us that the Democrats must fix before we lose what's left of this democracy. From Biden's Executive Order issued Friday on antitrust and monopoly to his powerful speech on Tuesday about the GOP attacks on our voting rights. There's also the matter of withdrawing the rest of the troops from Afghanistan, and even the billionaires' space race (about which I've not yet commented). Who would I like to talk with about all of this? Well, Digby, of course. She joins us today...

20210713 Nicole Sandler Show - (Zephyr) Teachout Tuesday and Biden on the Vote
I'm on a virtual one-woman quest to spread the news that the Biden administration is serious about helping the little guy with the Executive Order signed on Friday that would encourage competition, limit monopolies and rein in the bad guys. Zephyr Teachout is a law professor at Fordham University in the Bronx; her latest book, "Break 'Em Up: Recovering Our Freedom from Big Ag, Big Tech, and Big Money" seems to be written for this time in history. And she wrote about the massive executive order for The Nation on Friday, shortly after it was published. She joins us today to continue the conversation I started yesterday with Cory Doctorow.

20210712 Nicole Sandler Show - Trust Busting with Cory Doctorow
When Cory Doctorow joined me on the air last month, the half hour we allotted flew by and I had tons of questions left. So he agreed to come back and spend the hour. Well, today is the date we set. Little did we know that we'd be talking the first business day after President Biden signed a sweeping Executive Order aimed at overturning 40 years of failed anti-trust legislation that favored big industry and monopolies. That followed the House Judiciary Committee's markup of the six antitrust bills working their way through Congress that Cory told us about last time.

20210709 Nicole Sandler Show - Ratf*#ked Again, but Striking Back
Today is a day of extremes. David Daley (author of "Ratfucked: Why Your Vote Doesn't Count) has a new piece in the Guardian explaining how Republicans can take back the House without a single vote being cast. He's today's guest. But just when you think we're screwed, Joe Biden decides to take on monopolies with his pen. Lots to talk about on a Friday afternoon...
