Anette (@doula_anettehommel), a mother and doula, shares her path to motherhood and personal awakening: years of 'infertility,' consequences from birth control, how a miscarriage changed the trajectory of her life for the better, and the impact of healing generational trauma. Anette was deep in victimhood for a while but then her spirituality grew and she discovered how the Universe was FOR HER, not against her. Elyse, a mother of two, shares the journey that led to her two children: IVF and a miraculous conception after doctors told her she would have a 0% chance of conceiving naturally. Her and her husband woke up from living a "basic American lifestyle" to completely transforming their diet and toxin exposure in their home. Elyse also explains the birth of their second child: they desired a homebirth but because of finances, settled for a hospital birth and had to fight and advocate for their needs throughout it.

Nicole Pritchett, a documentary filmmaker and mother, shares her journey to motherhood. After visiting an egg freezing clinic, she received shocking news.... only to then receive even more shocking news weeks later, that woke her up to start questioning the medical advice she had received. Nicole is very passionate about women understanding their power of choice and autonomy in their health, fertility, and birth. We discuss the mass brain programming we all receive about birth, the suppression of women's mothering instincts, and how our authenticity has been silenced from childhood.

Liz tells the story of not being able to conceive for more than a year, how 2020 woke her and her husband up from medical brainwashing, and learning the truth of birth and choosing an amazing midwife for her first pregnancy. She visited a hospital in labor because of bleeding, but then her and her husband decided to sign out of the hospital and go home to have a homebirth.... and they did.

Then, after a few hard years of not conceiving, with another miscarriage, Anna recounts her experiences of receiving prophecies from ministers, which renewed her faith and hope.... resulting in most miraculous conception!! Anna shares the homebirth of her son and how perfect the events of her life were for her... deepening her relationship with God.        Anna recounts her first pregnancy and the emotional experience of a miscarriage. She then shares the story of her second pregnancy, which was ectopic. Finally, she talks about her conception journey and the challenges she faced in trying to conceive. In this conversation, Anna Shupp shares her journey of confusion and discovery with fertility awareness methods. She discusses the importance of understanding the differences between various methods and the misconceptions surrounding them.  She emphasizes the significance of surrendering control and placing trust in God's timing. Anna also shares her birth story, highlighting the challenges and moments of empowerment during labor. Through her journey, Anna finds gratitude and a deeper connection with her faith.

Mairin, a mother of six, shares her journey of faith, sexual trauma, adoption, birth, and motherhood. Her unplanned, traumatic pregnancy in college (and private adoption) awoke her true longing: motherhood. She shares her experiences of meeting her husband, being a military wife, fostering and adopting a son, multiple hospital inductions for IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction).... including a set of twins!!!! Lastly, Mairin explains her passion for homebirth, how birth is a reflection of our values and beliefs, and the story of her sixth baby, a freebirth!!! Mairin's story is one of "irresponsible" Faith and the divine perfection of God's plan.
