More Empathy for Children Please

Adults have a conscious mind (fully programmed on how to act in our society), that is a "gatekeeper" that prevents us from punching strangers that make us angry or from telling our friend our honest (negative) thoughts about the dress she loves, but children do not have this brain gatekeeper YET. This is why children have no filter and they express emotion in the second they feel it! I discuss how unrealistic expectations on young children with developing, growing brains, creates suffering and victimhood in parenting! I also discuss my theory about why most of us have the core wound of low self worth, “I am not good enough, pretty enough, successful enough, smart enough.” This episode was inspired by the book Fear No Evil and one of my favorite conscious mothers, Nicole Parker (@theseedofjoy_). If you enjoyed this episode, there are other past episodes about children and conscious parenting from years prior on this podcast.  If you are a conscious parent and want to share your journey to personal awakening please email wisewomendiaries@gmail.com to be on the show!
