Mairin, a mother of six, shares her journey of faith, sexual trauma, adoption, birth, and motherhood. Her unplanned, traumatic pregnancy in college (and private adoption) awoke her true longing: motherhood. She shares her experiences of meeting her husband, being a military wife, fostering and adopting a son, multiple hospital inductions for IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction).... including a set of twins!!!! Lastly, Mairin explains her passion for homebirth, how birth is a reflection of our values and beliefs, and the story of her sixth baby, a freebirth!!! Lindsey had a birth center birth with her first son at 36, then a freebirth at 41 with her second son. Maria shares her journey of motherhood, fertility struggles, and the transformation of her mindset. She discusses the profound impact of letting go and accepting her family as it is, but also the changes made to her and her family's life because of the "infertility." She shares a  profound German New Medicine healing story and the challenges her second son has faced, but how it has all been for her spiritual growth and she wouldn't change her story. 

Anita (@themidwitch) shares her experience with an abusive relationship in her early 20's, with the gradual process of handing over her power..... and then taking it back. We explore why many of us want authority figures, especially in birth, to replay power dynamics similar to our childhood with our parents. Anita shares her experiences with freebirthing and becoming a mother, fully in her power.       

Stephanie shares the concept of light conception and how it relates to her own experience two decades ago. She emphasizes the importance of being open-minded and accepting the extraordinary possibilities in life. Stephanie discovered that her mother was a true narcissist when she was 40 years old and explains the long journey of healing (she was an atheist that found God amongst abuse from her own mother!). Diana (@healingbirth) the host of the Healing Birth podcast, shares her journey through a traumatic c-section, her redemptive homebirth vbac, and mothering a child with special needs. She discusses the inspiration behind starting her podcast and the importance of sharing stories of hope and the realities of the maternity care system. Diana also shares her experience with miscarriage and the ongoing practice of Trust in her life. 

Carolina (@carolinaxhaddad) a mother, homesteader, and doula, shares her journey to motherhood...her personal awakening, faith, miscarriage, pregnancy, homebirth, and experiences with plant medicine. We discuss the parallels between plant medicine journeys and the birth portal. Carolina shares her experience of the challenges of her first labor experience - the feeling of being in a never-ending journey, the mind's desire for comfort and painlessness and the need to trust the birthing process. She is a testament that massive personal growth that can come from facing and overcoming fear.
