Abby Herman
The Content Experiment Podcast is a podcast for service-driven business owners who know that content is important but there's also so much more to marketing and business growth.
Here we talk about showing up for your audience in a way that they want to hear and in a way that's sustainable for you. This might mean publishing a weekly podcast or blog, but it also means paying attention to your email list, leveraging other people's audiences, building relationships, and getting over the limiting mindsets that often hit when we're reaching for the next level in our business.

I think LinkedIn gets swept to the side in the online business world. We're so focused on connecting on Instagram and being active in Facebook groups that we get stuck in the scroll and forget that our audience might be on LinkedIn. I'm completely guilty of that too, and I know that many of my 1:1 clients are actually hanging out on LinkedIn. So let's stop forgetting about this network-building platform and dig into why LinkedIn is so important for our businesses. And to be fair, LinkedIn isn't for every business. Just like Instagram or Twitter isn't for every business. On this episode of the Stories in Small Business podcast, Louise Brogan is sharing about some LinkedIn post types you may not know about, how to increase the shelf life of your posts, what to include in your profile, platform best practices, and much more. 075: Don't Overthink Content and Just Do Something
For so many business owners, the idea of creating content is paralyzing. To so many, content is synonymous with blog or writing. And while, yes, a lot of content is written. SO much is not. (BTW, it's also really easy to get help with your written content. Just sayin'.) But that's not what this episode is about. It's about how to think about content in a different way, in a way that makes it easy to simply put something out there and to stop overthinking it. Yes, content should be professional and thought-out, but it can also be so much more. It can be more personal and thought-provoking. It can spotlight a cause or a belief you feel strongly about. And it can also be something quick, a response to something someone else posted. Listen in to today's short and sweet episode about just doing something now and not worrying about perfection. It's time to get out there! Mentioned in This Episode Episode 74: Scale Your Impact and Income with a Course with Emily Walker Episode 73: Repurposing Content for Maximum ROI with Amy Woods

072: A Word About Providing (and Buying) Services
No matter what kind of business you run or what your life looks like, you pay people for services. Whether it's a tune-up for your car, your virtual assistant for posting social media posts for you, a business coach to guide you to your next goal or an accountant to help with your taxes or bookkeeping...you don't do life or business alone. But something that comes up again and again (and again!) is how people charge and pay for these services. Fees for services should not be simply the amount of time it takes for a service provider to "do the thing." There's so much more that goes into pricing than that. And make no mistake...I'm no pricing expert. But I do have quite a bit of experience both running a service-based business and paying others for services--as a business owner and a consumer. Tune in to this episode to hear my take on pricing for services, then share with me on Instagram your thoughts!

071: Making Branding About More Than Your Logo with Katie Saunders
You know how important it is that the images in your business look branded. Same colors on graphics, same color scheme and feel in your photos, same fonts. It's about your mission and values, and how you present yourself online and offline. I love how deep into all of this my conversation with Katie Saunders of Pop & Grey gets into this.
