“You can have it all, just not all at the same time.”- 01:42Goal setting will always be tailored differently for each person because of everyone’s diverse circumstances. – 03:53The first element of goal setting: relationships – 05:13The second element of goal setting: health – 05:50Falling into the ‘comparison cloud’ trap (i.e. comparing yourself to anothers’ highlights) – 06:37The third element of goal setting: financial – 07:36The fourth element of goal setting: fun. Remembering to enjoy life, putting ‘belly laughing’ as a to-do on your list – 08:05The fifth element of goal setting: giving – 08:52The sixth element of goal setting: learning – 09:46The seventh element of goal setting: travel. It doesn’t necessarily need to be ‘travelling overseas/interstate’; replace the word with ‘adventure’ and doing something new – 10:18The eighth element of goal setting: career. What do you want your career to look like over the next 12 months? What’s the most important thing? – 10:46The Values Play-off: Identifying your top three goals of the eight, and putting it side-by-side with your other goals. E.g. “You can have health, but you can’t have fun…which one do you choose?” “Well, if I am healthy, fun will naturally come.” – 11:37There has to be a constant innate questioning of “why do I want this and what will it actually bring to my life?” – 14:08Turning SMART goals into SMARTER goals. E for Energy and R for Risk. – 17:06Achieving goals requires energy. Putting 110% is unrealistic. You will need to source that anything beyond your 100% from someone else/ask for help – 17:36People may find it difficult to measure where they’re at with their goals simply because they don’t like standing on the scales – 21:47It’s possible to achieve above profit levels for a limited time, but it’s only unless you do the numbers consistently and track your results that you’ll be able to maintain meeting your goals – 22:50

Recommended reading – Jim Collins, Good to Great – 09:30

Recommended reading – Steve Farber, The radical leap – 10:30
Handout: Email us for a copy – 11:00
Level One: Positional Leadership. Having a leadership title and opportunity to grow but is misleading because you may not have the qualities of a leader yet – 13:27
Level Two: Permission Leadership: Being followed because people want to follow you. You are highly trusted but followers may take advantage of this. – 17:00
Level Three: Production Leadership. People follow you because your produce results and gives you credibility. It can set high standards and pressure to be constantly ‘on’ and producing results – 20:35
Level Four: People Development Leadership. People follow you because you have looked after their individual needs and help them grow. This requires a lot of commitment and mental energy. – 25:00
Revive Project – 25:30
Level Five: Pinnacle Leadership: People follow you because of who and what you represent. You must first understand yourself before reaching this level; who are you and what do you represent? Downside is it can be easy to think you’ve reached the top, but it is a constant growth – 29:24
Most leadership is gaining followers. And that’s not what leadership is. Leadership is about developing other leaders – 34:22
It’s not about trying to be something that you’re not. It’s about trying to become someone who you should – 35:16
