Joy, Liberation, and Antiracist Enneagram with Jessica Denise Dickson

Welcome back to Enneagram IRL, the weekly podcast where we go beyond Enneagram theory and dive into practical understanding, new clarity, and fresh insight. We’re talking about how each type is in REAL LIFE so you can remember – you’re more than just a number. On this week’s episode of Enneagram IRL, we meet with Jessica Denise Dickson, a life empowerment coach who believes that when Black women heal, the world heals. She believes that the path to personal and collective healing comes through embodying our Enneagram and liberation work. Jessica supports clients, through groups and one-on-one work, with the reclamation of our full humanity - healing work that leads us to equity, justice, and freedom. We discuss that when we do this work, we live more authentically with self-trust, self-safety, and fully-embodied freedom, and this echoes into our communities and changes the world. We explore Jessica’s beautiful and powerful experience as an Enneagram Eight whose love for life, people, and justice is so evident and quite contagious! Follow Jessica on Instagram:@jessicaddickson & @jessicaddicksoncoaching Looking for our key takeaways? Enneagram Stereotypes True & False

TRUE OR FALSE?There are best and worst Enneagram types. Some type combinations can be extremely toxic to one another in relationships.Enneagram 1s are more fun than Instagram portrays - they're not only about list-making and cleaning.Men can be Enneagram 2s.Enneagram 3s are more likely to be secretive and cause "scandals" because of not being truthful.Enneagram 4s are the most self-centered type.Enneagram 5s can actually be pretty open but usually only to a few incredibly close people.Enneagram 6s are downers and constantly making situations worse. All Enneagram 7s are lavish big spenders.Enneagram 8s may appear intense & scary but that's often their passion shining through.Enneagram 9s aren't pushovers at all, but are in fact very strong, stubborn, and opinionated. In this episode, I discussed this post: https://www.instagram.com/p/CKPPRaWBRFKMEET TODAY'S SPONSOR:Shape & Foster takes members on a journey of lifestyle development, providing knowledge and actionable insight via six amazing professionals in mental health, fitness, nutrition, finance, life coaching and yoga.  All members are here for the same reason - to learn and grow.  This makes for an active and positive community, and one you should be part of!https://www.shapeandfoster.com/Want to keep learning about the Enneagram?
