He graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1997 and gained membership of the Royal Faculty of Dental Surgeons in 2000. He is a specialist in periodontics and an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham Dental School. Amit is an ambassador for the Clean Implant Foundation, which aims to establish a science-based quality benchmark for implants. In 2018, he was voted one of dentistry’s 50 most influential figures.
