The student pastor is called to be a disciple-maker. Discipleship isn’t just teaching students Bible stories; students need to be continually renewed in the Gospel. Never stop proclaiming Christ in all of life; if we remove the centrality of the Gospel then there’s nothing left to proclaim. Marriage Conference | Zach Mabry | Saturday NightWhat God has brought together, men cannot separate. Marriage is a unique relationship where a man and woman come together to be one. This commitment is not supposed to be broken but it is under attack in our culture today. Christians should be the leading example of how the Lord intended marriage to operate. You have a short amount of time to preach the Gospel through your marriage.  Make it count!We need to be playing the proper roles in marriage. Wives need to submit to the leadership of their husbands and husbands need to love and understand their wives, and lead them properly. If you’re using your marriage for your own selfish satisfaction then this is not a picture of the Gospel. You’re showing a false picture of the oneness that we see in the Trinity. He has created us to reflect the perfect relationship that exists within the godhead, that’s why we’re not supposed to rip it apart. Marriage Conference | Brody Holloway | Saturday Morning Marriage was made to roar as a reflection of the Gospel because it teaches us about Christ’s relationship with the Church. It’s also a wonderful platform to advance the Gospel. We can look to Scripture for good, godly examples of marriages who made it their aim to make the Gospel known throughout their lives. Today Brody looks at a power-couple in the Bible who were willing to do whatever it took to advance the Gospel. Pricilla and Aquila played a key role in the early Church and we can imitate their example. Their home became a base of operations for the advancement of the Gospel and the church. They were locally and globally-minded in all they did. If we’re not letting our marriages flow from this context then they won’t work. The very foundation of marriage comes from Christ and His glory. Scripture paints a clear vision of the sacredness of marriage and teaches us about Christ’s relationship with the Church. Spencer examined Ephesians 5 and showed our responsibility to mirror Christ and the Church through our imperfect marriages. We’re called to play a role. Your marriage illustrates to your spouse (and to the world) what Christ’s relationship with His people is like. Be Strong Men's Conference | Sunday Morning | Gar BozemanAfter studying the life of the kings, we’ve learned that none of the kings could save their people. They weren’t able to deliver them from sin or the wrath of God. The life of the kings shows us our need for God. There is only one who has the power to deliver us and it’s not in any system of government but it’s in the King who has conquered. We serve a King who is in control and His power doesn’t change according to elections or pandemics. As we long for normalcy to return, don’t long for our old distractions. Men, we need to be the spiritual leaders of our homes. It matters if we’re fighting for our personal holiness or not. It matters if we’re reading Scripture or not. It matters if we’re praying or not. This life isn’t about us, it’s about the glory of Christ.
