Virginia’s 2025 governor's race will be the first real test of public sentiment on the Department of Government Efficiency's cuts and the flurry of executive actions under the Trump administration. Virginia is home to many federal employees, some of whom may see their jobs impacted by DOGE's effort to cut government waste.
