In just a few days, New York City, the world's business capital, will have a new mayor, Zoran Momdani. The self-described democratic socialist platform includes free buses, universal childcare, and city-run grocery stores. Prominent Democrats hesitated to support Momdany in New York City's mayoral race. Since his victory, Republicans nationwide have been raising red flags about his policies.
