EP 467: Why Intentionality Matters More Than Solutions | Craft of Fatherhood
Ned talks about the role of questions in fatherhood, challenging the "fix-it" mindset that many dads fall into. He shares how asking thoughtful questions can empower kids to think for themselves and make their own choices, rather than constantly giving them the answers. Reflecting on his own week, Ned discusses the importance of carving out intentional time with his kids, creating those "micro moments" of connection, and even the value of simply being present in the home without always needing to engage. Ned calls on fathers to pause, look back on their week, and consider where they’ve been intentional and where they’ve allowed space for their kids just to be. He reminds dads that true fatherhood goes beyond solutions, pointing out how our presence and purpose can change the world.---------Transform Your Body with Ned & RUK Fitness: RUK FitnessThis episode is sponsored by The Adventure of FatherhoodOrder The Adventure of Fatherhood children's book hereCheck out the TEDx----------Want to learn more about The Adventure of Fatherhood?https://www.adventureoffatherhood.com/https://www.rebelandcreate.com/Each week Ned sits down with a dad and asks him to open up his field notes and share with other men who find themselves on the Adventure of Fatherhood.
