Eve | How to rise again after losing it all.
Eve Jihan Jeffers-Cooper (@therealeve) joins me to talk about her career in music, film and daytime TV. Over two decades Eve has navigated the music industry, won a Grammy award, made a seamless transition into film, launched her own fashion label and now sits on the hosting panel of The Talk, one of America's top-rated day time TV shows. In this episode we discuss the downside to success, how failures and disappointment can actually help steer you in the right direction, how she climbed out of a 'dark hole' of depression and the affirmations, meditations and rituals that help her stay on track.Eve was in London for the launch of the Gumball 3000 Rally which took place between 5-12th August and ended in Tokyo.Links from the show:The Clarity Cleanse by Dr Habib SadeghiAsana Rebel - Eve's yoga-inspired fitness appThe Honest Guys on YouTube. To join the closed Facebook group for the podcast click here >> The Emma Guns Show Forum. To follow me on social media >> Twitter | Instagram. For the entire #26habits back catalogue visit The Pool.Hey! Habit 16 | Is a two week spending freeze doable?
This habit is inspired by comments in the Facebook Group for the show and it's all about how feasible it is to do a spending freeze. Unless it's essential - food, water, rent etc - then the money stays in the account or in the pocket.According to one report all these cashless transactions we're used to means we're spending way more than we actually intend to, sometimes up to three times more, and those are expenses that can really build up. So what I'm going to do for two weeks is keep my purse closed and see what I realise I do need to spend money on and what I absolutely don't. It also means I'll have to prepare lunches, coffees and the like because grabbing one when I'm out and about is completely off-limits. Yikes, I'm nervous...To join the closed Facebook group for the podcast click here >> The Emma Guns Show Forum. To follow me on social media >> Twitter | Instagram. For the entire #26habits back catalogue visit The Pool.Hey!
