Frustrated by the rampant doping culture in cycling, Sky retired after the 2000 Olympics and dedicated his career in search for a better solution. In 2011, Sky broke a world record using a digital health approach inspired by Dr. Eric Topol. This experiment was the genesis of project that helped athletes win medals at the 2012 London Olympics, receiving international media and featured in the documentary film 'Personal Gold. Sky has been a featured speaker at health and technology conferences ranging from The New York Digital Health Conference, Quantified Self, TEDx and more. Tamara Christopherson is a U.S. Olympian who competed in sprint kayak in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Featured in world-wide media including The Today Show, NBC, ESPN, CNN, the Financial Times, Wired and Esquire Magazine, Christopherson speaks on a wide range of topics including the role of women and technology in sports. 006 Olympian Tanner Gers: Overcoming Adversity & Creating A Life Worth Living

After losing control of his car in an auto accident, Tanner lost his sight at age 21. The biggest tragedy in Tanner’s life, wasn’t losing his sight. It was not living life, and taking every day by the horns, like he does today. Since that day, Tanner graduated from college, is the 2011 Para Pan American gold medalist, 2012 US Paralympic trials gold medalist, 2012 Paralympian, and a 2013 World Championship team member, 2-time National Beep Baseball Association World Series Offensive MVP, 4-time Offensive All-Star, published author, public speaker, and when he’s not doing that stuff, he dabbles in business. His latest project, which is launching this summer, is The Athlete Summit, an online event designed to help athletes and coaches achieve greatness in sport and in life.
