213 Bonnie Kelly: Winning The Mind

Many people don't know that they have a choice to think, feel, and believe whatever they desire. Separate your identity from these old belief systems and recognize that it's just outdated software that needs to be updated. - Bonnie Kelly  How can exploring your conscious, taking inventory, and upgrading your mind's software help you become the person you've always wanted to be? What her father was able to do for her to get the help and guidance she needed to emotionally heal and spark her consciousness. Why "Good Vibes Only" and "Be Happy" simply cannot happen because no one chooses to be happy. Spiritual bypassing - what it is and why it's dangerous for the mind and our relationships. Law of vibration - what it is and how it helps release us from our conditioned self to achieve greater consciousness. What steps you can take to begin focusing on the subtle ways that you sabotage yourself. The conscious self vs. the conditioned self - why we limit and label ourselves. Why we need to take our parents' experiences into consideration when exploring our own minds. The drivers for curiosity and why being curious is so important for habit change. How religion can dampen the inventory process that you go through to rewire your mind and what you can do to change that around. Why shame is a method of control by telling people what they should do, should believe or should be etc. How society could be the culprit of why you feel such shame and have been put inside a labeled box that is making you depressed. How our conditioning to want quick results doesn't serve us in our spiritual nor wellness journey. Why you don't have to try out a million different programs but find one that you really like, fits you, and challenges you. How you can begin to physically heal in three areas: the root, the release, and the resolve. Her thoughts on using plant medicine and psychedelics in alignment with structured programs of emotional intelligence. What evidence is out there that our society is leaning towards being more conscious. What can we do next about #MeToo? Now what? What if we flipped the conversation to #WeToo? What steps you can take to decide if you should focus on your physical, mental, or spiritual health first until you have spent time in all three to reach synergy. Power Quotes From The Show "The brain is a computer that's just following instructions. It's not going to notice opportunities for advancement because we've conditioned it to focus on not having enough, feeling stressed, and believing that nothing is possible." - @LivinOptimistic http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "I'm here to help people realize that a different emotional state is possible. I don't think many people recognize the impact that our emotions have on us on a regular basis. They impact our decisions, interactions, relationships, finances, health, and fitness; they impact everything in our lives. Our emotions are impacting every component of what we're experiencing. There's a real disconnection because we've been taught to just shut our emotions down, numb them down, and tune them out. My job is to wake people up and to help them make that connection but make it in a way so that we can feel responsibly and take ownership of our emotions." - Bonnie Kelly "I do like the idea of creating and maintaining high vibes but the reality is that life isn't 'Good Vibes Only,' and if you're only allowing them to enter your life, you're not permitting real reality in and you're going to be missing opportunities for growth. Growth doesn't happen in the good vibes; growth happens in the hardship, struggles, and failures that we go through in life. Of course, it's not pretty and I'm not wishing those experiences upon anyone but that's how we evolve. Sometimes people take 'Good Vibes Only' to a point where they're just going to completely remove people from their lives because they're not in the right vibration. It's a way to run from intimacy and relationships without going through the process of taking inventory of the people in your life and deciding whether or not they're serving your higher purpose." - Bonnie Kelly "When you feel this pain or negative energy within yourself, that's going to need exploration because you need to understand what's triggering it and where it's coming from. What is this? What are you feeling? If you actually just pause to look at that, that will bring you so much insight and awareness. That will tell you where your perception is and what vibrations you're conditioned to look for because that's what's going to drive tomorrow's decisions and experiences. That's where whatever vibration you're feeling begins to control and dictate your life." - Bonnie Kelly    Links From Today's Show Bonnie Kelly Facebook Instagram Twitter YouTube LinkedIn True To Your Core by Bonnie Kelly WFR 040 - Bonnie Kelly: How To Get Out Of Your Own Way WFR 087 - Bonnie Kelly: True To Your Core MindFu Academy Why We Self-Sabotage and How to Eliminate Self-Sabotage Start Feeling Good Enough Power vs. Force by David R. The physical and emotional practices he regularly does to keep in touch with himself and his masculinity. Pieces of training he has participated in to stay emotionally strong. Whether or not it's possible to lose our identity through emotional intelligence training. The necessity of going through an integration period after you take part in an emotional intelligence training. How to uncover your triggers and what you easily get caught up in through cautious self-reflection. Why emotional training can be beneficial but also dangerous. Why we don't have to 'kill' the ego in order to let go of our relationship with it. The contrast and connection between imposter syndrome and plant medicine during ceremonies. How he was able to get in touch with his feminine and masculine sides during Ayahuasca ceremonies. Having the right intention when participating in a plant medicine ceremony by combining the physical with the spiritual. How you can approach attending a plant medicine ceremony for the first time. How you can embody the lessons after an Ayahuasca ceremony through your own integration process. Letting go of the fear of death through plant medicine. Hero disintegration and coming to the realization that the people we look up to are just normal like us. What stops us from being curious about exploring and growing as human beings because of the power of disillusionment.   Power Quotes From The Show "Your life is defined by what you'll sacrifice for and what you're willing to give up. One of the most beautiful things about life is that you get to choose your sacrifices." - @ConnerWanders ‏ http://bit.ly/wfpodcast   "Patterns and biases in your behavior and decision making may seem like they’re limiting you, but they were created at some point in your life to serve you. Those behaviors gave you safety and giving them gratitude will set you free. You can choose to let go of things but you can't just throw them away; you have to tell them 'thank you' for serving you but you no longer need them." - Conner Moore "Broaden the boundaries of your experience and how you bring yourself into this world. Allow yourself to take more in and create more context so that you will have more information to draw and express yourself from. We're patterned to be a certain way and there are things right in front of our faces that we can't see that create these false boundaries about how we see life. If you can take yourself a little bit less seriously, withhold judgment for a little while, have some compassion for yourself, and then get curious, you will be able to explore more and more until you discover what you don't like and what you absolutely love that you didn't even know existed before." - Conner Moore "Be open and receptive to the kindness of people. Treat every human interaction like a human interaction and have the intention inside of you to really connect with people. 211 Dr. Chad Walding: The Native Path

The NativePath is a journey; it's an invitation to go down a journey to reclaim your health and remember who you really are. As a species and an individual, we've forgotten who we are because we've been brought into this world where we've been given a name and a label. We're taught who we are as far as race, political ideology, or religion and we get caught up in those things. We also might get caught up in our diseases and think that's who we are. Eventually, all of this starts to manifest itself as a little voice inside our heads. So at NativePath, we're trying to remove all of that and give people a way out so they can realize that they're the creator of their life. - Dr. Chad Walding JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST  20% OFF ORGANIFI - USE CODE: WELLNESSFORCE What is the key to staying curious about your own mental, physical, and spiritual wellness?  In Wellness Force Radio episode 211, physical therapist; health and wellness Entrepreneur; and Co-Founder of Lexicon Health including the brands: NativePath, Sitting Solution, and Paleo Secret, Dr. Chad Walding uncovers the different levels of depression and anxiety that can vary from person to person; how sitting not only affects our body, but mind as well; and the relationship between being healthy and having a supportive community. Find out how you can get on the right path to discovering what will fulfill you today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your life. "These experiences and things that happen to us, they're actually an opportunity for us to grow. They make us more resilient, stronger and connect us to who we really are. There's an infinite potential to what we can learn about ourselves." - @PaleoSecret http://bit.ly/wfpodcast NativePath is the culmination of over 50+ years of experience in studying human health. We are on a mission to return human health and vitality by changing the way we eat, move, think and live. From home health care for patients ravaged by degenerative neurological and chronic disease all the way to the coaching of elite athletes, we have seen a clear pattern—how people eat, think and move affects everything. Immune function, energy levels, mood, body composition, skin, longevity, you name it. We have seen what many may consider miracles of healing – disease reversed, health and vitality regained, the opportunity to live a fully functional life that we all deserve. Through this experience, we bring products and services that provide the framework for humans to return to their native health and natural way of being.   Listen To Episode 211 As Dr. Chad Walding Uncovers: The sitting cycle we've become so accustomed to which actually impacts us on a deep, spiritual level. His childhood and how the high levels of emotional anger in his home environment affected both him and his brother. The adolescent and young adult depression he faced growing up. Generational depression and anxiety we could be experiencing without realizing it. His own struggles with self-love and feeling worthy. The different levels of depression and anxiety that can vary from person to person. Our search for life fulfillment and how he is able to fill that need through giving and learning. What he and the NativePath and Lexicon Health brands want to teach people about wellness. His own path towards coming aware of who he truly is despite all the labels, media, and his own ego telling him otherwise. How teaching about health and wellness throughout his community helped him realize his true purpose and shifted his paradigm. His regular practices including a daily intention of what he wants to accomplish in 90 days. Why we're all empaths no matter if we're actually paying attention to it or not. His relationship with his wife and how he knew he would marry her the moment he met her. The journey he and his wife went through when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. His future plans as he continues to help people become more aware of how they can focus on their own health. Why you have to meet people on their level in order to sell them what they want and give them what they need. The importance of community when helping people to focus on changing their life. What he's the most excited about for the future of health and wellness. Where our self-doubt comes from that is holding us back from living a healthy life. How we can be more intentional about watching TV, being on social media, and getting tasks done. Power Quotes From The Show "It's okay to have a difficult time trusting the process. It's okay if you're feeling those feelings and you're in a bad place. Just keep going strong and looking at yourself. Move forward and do the best you can. That's all you can do." - @PaleoSecret http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "We're on a mission to help the individual cultivate happiness, health, and kindness within themselves as well as spread those ideas to their community. We want to let people know that they were brought up in a world with a lot of toxicity - their food, the way they've been moving, and the thoughts they've been thinking have all been inherited but that's not who they are; they're not a victim and we're going to show them a way out. It's almost like we were born into a room with toxic perfume. The more time we spend in that room, the sooner we become desensitized to its toxicity. We're trying to get people out of that room to help them discover who they really are." - Dr. Chad Walding  "As someone who was working in the conventional healthcare system, I felt like I had no purpose. However, what that experience was doing was just showing me what's actually happening in healthcare and building up a desire to change something about it. That experience was exactly what I needed and it was my purpose even though I didn't know it was my purpose. Back then I didn't understand why I was in that situation but now I do." - Dr. Chad Walding  "I always try to live in a state of wonder. I literally wake up every day and say, 'May I be in a state of wonder?' I always wonder about other people and how they're doing, how things might be occurring to them, or even how the universe works. Our curiosity is quite infinite but that's what makes it fun. 210 Brad Burge: Healing & Human Optimization Through Psychedelics

MAPS isn't just developing treatments for mental illnesses. We're not just working within the system; we're also challenging the system. There's this idea that there's something broken in our brains such that we need to medicate it with these laboratory designed pharmaceuticals and that we as human beings are essentially damaged; that we're not perfect and we need to reach outside of ourselves to be healthy and happy. That's why we have our culture's fascination with drugs. - Brad Burge What is possible when a suitable candidate for psychedelics begins using them to heal from anxiety and mental illness? How can plant medicines help us in human optimization through unlocking the release of suppressed thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations? JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST  20% OFF ORGANIFI - USE CODE: WELLNESSFORCE In Wellness Force Radio episode 210, editor of Manifesting Minds, Director of Strategic Communications for Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Brad Burge, explains how psychedelics can help people get back in touch with ancient ways of being, connect with the world, and help aid them in their journeys towards extreme habit change including ending addiction. Discover how the assisted therapeutic use of psychedelics and plant drugs is helping people liberate their consciousness, heal from PTSD, and integrate new lifestyle changes. "Using psychedelics for therapy doesn't look like what we've been taught to think psychedelics look like. It's not a party in a room. People are not just getting off their heads and having a great time; that doesn't happen." - @BradBurge_ http://bit.ly/wfpodcast   Click here to buy your copy of Manifesting Minds edited by Dr. Rick Doblin and Brad Burge Featuring essays and interviews with Timothy Leary, Aldous Huxley, Ram Dass, Albert Hofmann, Alexander (Sasha) Shulgin, Daniel Pinchbeck, Tim Robbins, Arne Naess, and electronic musician Simon Posford, as well as groundbreaking research and personal accounts, this one-of-a-kind anthology is a "best of" collection of articles and essays published by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Topics include the healing use of marijuana and psychedelics--including MDMA, ibogaine, LSD, and ayahuasca--for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and drug addiction, as well as positive effects of these substances in the realm of the arts, family, spirituality, ecology, and technology.  Listen To Episode 210 As Brad Burge Uncovers: The vast amount of research that's going on today with the use of psychedelics and therapy. What people misunderstand the most about plant medicine and psychedelics The results from the studies that have been done on war veterans, police officers, and fireman with an MDMA assisted cycle of therapy for PTSD. The contrast and differences between LSD, DMT, MDMA, ibogaine, cannabis, psilocybin, and Ayahuasca. His own personal story and the various obstacles he faced when it came to his mental health and using lithium. The turning point in his life when he tried LSD and what the outcome was like for him. His integration process to not taking lithium by adding in activities such as art and exercise while avoiding alcohol and tobacco. Who benefits the most from psychedelics and who shouldn't be taking them at all. What LSD and other psychedelics can bring out in people as far as mental illnesses and psychosis. How he would define psychosis and how its hard to understand what it exactly is with all of the continuous research. The process of assisting people to get off drugs and liberate their consciousness by using psychedelic substances such as LSD. What he's noticed between people using plant medicine and psychedelics for recreation vs. therapy. Why guided help and community is so important for the preparation, use, and integration of psychedelics. How psychedelics can help us really connect with our ancient ways of being and with the rest of the world. Why psychedelics are mind manifesting in the sense that they can help us release our thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. What the future use of psychedelics such as MDMA could look like as far as limiting usage to be under supervised therapy in a clinic. The opioid epidemic and the correlation between Trump supporters and the number of overdosed deaths. How MAPS is helping society change their stigmatized views on plant medicine and psychedelics. What the future of MDMA, psilocybin, Ayahuasca, DMT, and ibogaine will look like. Power Quotes From The Show "Lithium wasn't allowing me to accomplish my potential, recognize how efficient my brain was and how useful my emotions were to me. Psychedelics showed me that my thinking of, 'What's wrong with me,' was keeping me from achieving more." - @BradBurge_ http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "It took me a couple of days to process this but after using psychedelics and spending time in nature, I realized that there isn't anything broken with me; there's nothing wrong with the way that my brain is processing information, feeling emotion, or experiencing things. It's just that things are so intense for me. Life wasn't perfect for me after that experience, but it showed me that lithium wasn't getting me anywhere." - Brad Burge "When you see these drugs in action; whether it's in a therapeutic or a recreational setting, there's something very embodied about them. The experience isn't just about out-of-body consciousness exploration, but there's a real embodiment that happens. In addition to getting us off prescription pharmaceuticals, showing us that we're not fundamentally damaged and that we have the capacity as individuals, I think psychedelics also help get us down deeper into our bodies. When I took LSD for the first time, I spent the entire day in my body doing this 8-mile walk around a lake and I think being physically exhausted was part of it as well. It was part of this feeling of, "There's nothing wrong with me," because my body was fine; my body was happy when it was moving around." - Brad Burge  "What MAPS is doing is actually using psychedelic drugs to help people get off drugs. Just two or three sessions with these substances are producing lasting changes and people don't need to stay on their existing medications. We're helping people liberate their consciousness from these straightjackets of conventional pharmacotherapy." - Brad Burge   Links From Today's Show Brad Burge Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube LinkedIn Google+ Pinterest Tumblr MAPS Podcast Manifesting Minds PRESS RELEASE: Pineapple Fund Offers $4 Million Matching Grant to MAPS Smart Drug Smarts with Brad Burge #099: Psychedelics – New Perspective Over-the-Counter Ecstasy? 209 Jamie Wheal: The Altered States Economy

When you boost energy through your system via breathwork, movement, myofascial release, or anything else, you have more juice going through your circuits and it tends to disclose more information about where you're impeded. So, ecstasis constantly shows you two things: your sort of highest potential, the way you ought to be or the way the world could be and it also shows you where you're broken. It's like an electrician running juice through a circuit and discovering you've blown fuse. - Jamie Wheal It's the biggest revolution you've never heard of, and it's hiding in plain sight. Over the past decade, some of the highest performers in the world have been harnessing rare and controversial states of consciousness to solve critical challenges and outperform the competition. JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST  20% OFF ORGANIFI - USE CODE: WELLNESSFORCE In Wellness Force Radio episode 209, leading expert on the neurophysiology of human performance, Co-Author of Best-seller Stealing Fire, and Executive Director of Flow Genome Project, Jamie Wheal, shares why the "Altered States Economy" has now grown to over 4 billion dollars and what that means for our collective future. Learn how these states unlock how we can become a stronger Promethean, why hedonism is naturally wired within you, and what 80-20 "Woke to Broke" really is. After practicing meditation, doing yoga, or using psychedelics to illicit personal growth or flow state, do you ever feel like something is still missing from within? Learn why the integration process is so vital when altering your mental state and how you can achieve greater balance through hedonic calendaring. "Let's not chase one more peak experience or shiny thing that we believe is going to give us all the happiness that we want. Many believe that if we can only get there, then life is forever easy but life isn't like that." - Jamie Wheal of @FlowGenome http://bit.ly/wfpodcast   Get your copy of Stealing Fire by Steven Kotler and Jamie Wheal today It’s the biggest revolution you’ve never heard of, and it’s hiding in plain sight. Over the past decade, Silicon Valley executives like Eric Schmidt and Elon Musk, Special Operators like the Navy SEALs and the Green Berets, and maverick scientists like Sasha Shulgin and Amy Cuddy have turned everything we thought we knew about high-performance upside down. Instead of grit, better habits, or 10,000 hours, these trailblazers have found a surprising shortcut. They're harnessing rare and controversial states of consciousness to solve critical challenges and outperform the competition. New York Times bestselling author Steven Kotler and high performance expert Jamie Wheal spent four years investigating the leading edges of this revolution—from the home of SEAL Team Six to the Googleplex, the Burning Man festival, Richard Branson’s Necker Island, Red Bull’s training center, Nike’s innovation team, and the United Nations’ Headquarters. And what they learned was stunning: In their own ways, with differing languages, techniques, and applications, every one of these groups has been quietly seeking the same thing: the boost in information and inspiration that altered states provide. Today, this revolution is spreading to the mainstream, fueling a trillion dollar underground economy and forcing us to rethink how we can all lead richer, more productive, more satisfying lives. Driven by four accelerating forces—psychology, neurobiology, technology, and pharmacology—we are gaining access to and insights about some of the most contested and misunderstood terrain in history. Stealing Fire is a provocative examination of what’s actually possible; a guidebook for anyone who wants to radically upgrade their life.   Listen To Episode 209 As Jamie Wheal Uncovers: How the world began to look at altered states of consciousness and the essential history of it. How we can become a stronger Promethean through altered states. The altered states of economy and how we use various sources to shift our state of mind.  How hedonism is naturally wired within us.  Why respiration, embodied cognition, and sexuality are mind altering tools that are the least susceptible to corruption and/or repression. Two things mind altering tools and practices can do: show you your highest potential and where you're broken. Whether or not a practice like holotropic breathing can help boost our energy and heal us. All these little experiences and peak states that can help us fix most things that are going on within our minds. How we can properly use psychedelics to help us overcome this constant stimulation that's always around us. The statistics of the population taking psychedelics as far as who should take them and when. Why we should be cautious with psychedelic usage and other minder altering practices because they might open some doors that should have been closed. Why attending a mass amount of Ayahuasca series will not lead you to what you're seeking because you have not integrated what you've experienced during them to your actual life. The increase in the amount of super virus via medicine because of the vast amount of antibiotics that doctors give to patients. The vital importance of the integration process while using psychedelics and experiencing altered states. What we're missing when it comes to altered states as far as integration and service. 80-20 Woke to Broke - How we become 20% satisfied with something but then spend 80% of our time chasing the high we get from that natural 20% Daily or weekly, positive practices such as breathing or clean eating that you can plan through hedonic calendering that allow you to naturally indulge without psychedelics. How he sees himself as a servant of God by trying to be a good father, husband, and leader in his organization. Monogamy vs Polyamory vs. Hierogamy relationships and whether or not we're using communion as a route to transcendence or not. Power Quotes From The Show "Ecstasis constantly shows you two things: your highest potential and where you're broken. It's like an electrician running juice through a circuit and discovering you've blown a fuse" - Jamie Wheal of @FlowGenome http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "The whole 80-20 "Woke to Broke" is this idea that you get 80% bang for your buck on ecstatic technologies with the first 20% of your involvement. However, because that first 20% feels so amazingly rewarding, most people just continue going and then they invest 80% of their time and money to chasing the long tail of the 20% which can go on forever; you're never going to get there but you can chase it forever." - Jamie Wheal "We can see 80% 'Woke' as being good enough and it might be all that we ever get to presume and 20% 'Broke' is the human experience. Let's be open and be fully awake to that. Let's not chase one more journey, one more peak experience, or one more bauble, blinky, shiny thing that we tell ourselves is going to give us all the money, love, and happiness that we want. So many people believe that if we can only get there, then life is forever effortless and easy but life isn't like that." - Jamie Wheal "Most people pinball between indulgence and guilt-ridden abstinence. They have an un-integrated relationship to their ecstatic practices and it often gets a lot of cultural baggage and programming. So, hedonic calendaring allows for positive, foundational practices rather than stressing over thoughts of 'Should I or shouldn't I?'" - Jamie Wheal    Links From Today's Show Jamie Wheal LinkedIn Facebook Flow Genome Project Facebook Twitter Instagram Vimeo YouTube Stealing Fire by Steven Kotler and Jamie Wheal Flow Genome Project Closed Facebook Group Democratize Nirvana SEALFIT 20X | A DEEPER WHY | One Man's Journey | Physical & Emotional Intelligence Your Brain on Porn by Gary Wilson Rock Tape Paul Stamets on The Joe Rogan Experience Gil Hedley: Fascia and stretching: The Fuzz Speech Stanislav "Stan" Grof The Wim Hof Method Joe Rogan talks AYAHUASCA & DMT Natural Stacks: Psychedelic Researcher Rick Doblin on Treating PTSD with MDMA Ram Dass WFR 086 Mark Divine About Jamie Wheal Jamie Wheal, Executive Director of Flow Genome Project and Co-Author of Stealing Fire is a leading expert on the neurophysiology of human performance. 208 Maddy Moon: Healthy Boundaries & Masculine/Feminine Power

Healthy boundaries are something that is very, very hard for many men and women. When the feminine can begin to honor her needs, everyone starts honoring their needs. A lot comes from the longing and yearning within the feminine. There's pleasure within the yearning and that's a catalyst for a lot of change. So, if women can learn how to protect their sacred space, I think we'll get a lot more done and honor ourselves so much more. - Maddy Moon How can you set up healthy boundaries in order to focus on yourself in either your feminine or masculine role? JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST  20% OFF ORGANIFI - USE CODE: WELLNESSFORCE In Wellness Force Radio episode 208, Transformational Coach, Author of several books including Freeing Your Feminine Spirit, and Podcast Host of Mind Body Musings, Maddy Moon, uncovers why women are a reflection of the Divine's love as love light, how you can healthily express your frustrations without creating resentment in your relationships, and what it means to be in the feminine flow. Learn how you can create your own pleasure practice to experience and enjoy all of your emotions from love and joy to anger and pain. "The idea of confrontation and someone questioning you is scary. However, you don't owe anyone an explanation either. So, there might be confrontation when you set a healthy boundary but you don't owe anything else beyond that."- @MindBodyMusings http://bit.ly/wfpodcast THE 4 PILLARS OF FEMININITY Is perfectionism ruining your life? Do you continuously attract the wrong kind of men in your life? Are you obsessed with doing more and staying busy? Do you beat yourself up when things don’t go according to plan or they’re out of your control? Has food or body image been an issue in your lifetime and time again? Click here to download:  Maddy Moon's Audio Guide - The 4 Pillars of Femininity For Feminity Listen To Episode 208 As Maddy Moon Uncovers: Her childhood growing up with controlling parents in a conservative, Christian family and how that affected her for years from abuse to addiction to depression. How she was able to get in touch with her feminine self and who she is by doing the work to uncover her layers. The pressure and shame she experienced from her parents when she experienced her first kiss and how that affected other first kisses after that. Fear that some women have when it comes to female sexuality and being exploited by others. How her mother tried to imprint her views and values on intimacy on Maddy at thirteen. Breathwork and journaling processes that allowed her to work through her mixed thoughts and feelings on intimacy. The various goddess archetypes and how the feminine is glamorized but what's happening now to change that idea about women. The yoga of intimacy and how we can use our posture to be open to experiences. Why you shouldn't turn away but embody pleasure for your own sake. The love light that the feminine provides and the consciousness that the masculine provides to the world. Why women aren't open to sharing their feminity because they're shy, they want to be secretive or are afraid of being exploited. How men and women both need each other and what kind of role both have to play. The steps women can take to get out of their head and stop overthinking. What happens within our relationships when we're not willing to open up to each other. How the feminine communicates through physical emotions and how we can do it through love rather than hate and resentment. Healthy methods to improve communication including creating boundaries. Why we even set boundaries in the first place and why it's so important for self-preservation and not about other people. How to face confrontation even though it might seem scary at first. The practices she does for increased semantic awareness as far as naming and taming her emotions. The importance for women to spend time in their masculine as well and not become so angry with it, but acknowledge and use it.   Power Quotes From The Show "Whenever you're looking to be more into your feminine flow, it doesn't mean to look graceful all the time. You can be in your grace and be in your fury at the same time." - @MindBodyMusings http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "I've done this work over the past couple of years when it comes to experiencing first kisses and breath is what helped me the most. Every time I experience that first kiss, I acknowledge that shiver that runs down my spine. That's number one - not to ignore it, not to push through it, not to pretend that it's not there and I think so many of us do that. We think that if we're able to get over this sexual shame, then we'll finally be able to enjoy sex and get back into our bodies and feminine flow, but that's not really what happens. We have to use these experiences as a portal. I can experience a delicious first kiss through feeling that shiver through breath; not by ignoring it or pressing it." - Maddy Moon "I am an expert at being and living in this body. Archetypes are just so many things that we already have within ourselves so anyone can get into their feminine flow. What it means to be in your feminine flow is to be in all different parts of ourselves and embody all of our emotions including anger and frustration." - Maddy Moon "Why do you hide your pleasure? In this world that's suffering from a lack of female enjoyment, why don't you bring your pleasure as a gift to the world? Pleasure is seen as love to the masculine; it is the same. It is the same. You can still find pleasure somewhere inside your body regardless of what else is happening in your life. It doesn't mean having to put any type or small morsel of pleasure on hold until you get through this fight that you're having with your partner. What if you use that fight to embody your anger and still find some ounce of pleasure in your body at the same time." - Maddy Moon  "If you're really in you're feminine by being loving, open, and creative but also surrendering, you might be taking on this mother archetype of nurturing. If you don't have boundaries as this nurturer, you often end up giving your energy to everyone. The line is really blurry on when do you say 'no,' because you're using your head a lot and worry about what others think of you if you don't help them. There's that primal need of being liked again; it's always there unless we're listening to it and understanding how it's getting in the way. It's not up to us who likes us. That's a sure fire way to waste our time here on Earth; to go around trying to control how people view us and if they like us." - Maddy Moon "Healthy boundaries aren't set to get you what you want. We set boundaries because that's a way we can step into our power and protect our sacred space. That's what allows us to say, 'I'm not doing this; this is not okay for me.' Boundaries look different for every single person. Whether or not the other person listens is not up to you. If you're trying to set boundaries solely to get what you want, you're very likely going to end up frustrated because you can't control how people respond." - Maddy Moon Links From Today's Show Maddy Moon Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube LinkedIn Mind Body Musings Podcast Mind Body Musings Podcast episode 199 Josh Trent 31 Experts Share Their Juiciest Ways to Harmonize Your Feminine and Masculine Energies Attend a John Wineland Workshop Experience  4 Ways To Create Vulnerability With Your Partner 8 Ways Perfectionism Is Keeping You From Enjoying Sex 5 Ways Embracing Feminity Has Transformed Me Events and Retreats with Maddy Moon Coaching with Maddy Moon The Perfection Myth by Madelyn Moon Freeing Your Feminine Spirit by Madelyn Moon Boundary Setting, Perfectionism & Money Confidence with Maddy Moon Michael Beckwith What is Ravishment? 207 Jesse Lawler | Cognitive Bias: Evolving From Physic Injury

Understanding of cognitive bias is a great inroad to self-acceptance of your own having made bad decisions because it's something we're all saddled with; every single one of us. Everyone is set up with the same set of biases. At this point, most cognitive biases are bugs; not features but just understanding that cognitive bias exists can keep us from kicking ourselves when we're down. Even though cognitive biases are sort of a built-in problem within the mind, they're also something that can help you make a connection to that past imprints in your mind so that you can heal. - Jesse Lawler How can you wade through all of the different opinions, research, and even your own past experiences to uncover and explore your cognitive biases? Discover how you can get out of your mind and into your soul to reveal who you truly are.  "We're always completely aware of the context of our own decisions which is why they seem completely reasonable to us. Just because they seem reasonable to us, it doesn't mean they're worth something to anybody else and vice versa." - @Lawlerpalooza http://bit.ly/wfpodcast    "Intelligence is as fixed as a person's height." How overwhelming it can be to make choices; especially when we face decision fatigue. Psychic wounds - how we can perceive them as trauma and how they imprint in our minds. How we can seek out the best, correct information out there amongst everything that's available to us. The replication crisis when studies are repeated or semi-repeated by different people with new results that don't match up with the original findings. How to correctly educate yourself on a new diet before actually trying it out. The power of looking at both the pros and cons in order to make a good decision. The best way to seek out information without the bandwagon effect, the dangers of groupthink and how to avoid it, as well as how psychic wounds have been imprinted in your mind. What kind of world we might be setting up for future generations. Whether or not psychedelics and deeper states altered states of consciousness help reimprint past tragedies and elevate the pain of cognitive biases in our mind. What work you should do in order to integrate your mind before actually doing psychedelics. How you can improve your emotional intelligence by exploring your cognitive biases. What Jesse is doing now to continuously explore and discover who he is. Power Quotes From The Show “The world is something that we make. If we’re giving everybody participation awards so a kid feels like they’re the specialist snowflake in their class just by being there, that doesn’t necessarily set themselves up for today’s world.” – @Lawlerpalooza http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "We intuitively think that more choices are good. So, if you give people three options, they'll analyze all their options and make a choice. However, if you give them 35 choices of the same thing, we won't want to read every label and either we end up not making a choice or just grab the closest one and make a completely uneducated choice versus at least looking over the top three." - Jesse Lawler "According to Bruno Bettelheim's thesis, the developmental age at which a person has when they experience their first big disappointment with reality really sets the psychic trajectory in motion that they will have for the rest of their life. You don't necessarily need to try to address it but sometimes that's good in certain cases. However, at least try to realize why you missed understanding the world so much that it came and smacked you in this particular way. The difference between somebody who receives a psychic wound when they were two versus fourteen is how they address it from a psychological standpoint and what's going to motivate them going forward throughout their life." - Jesse Lawler  "So much of the information that each of us get day in and day out now is coming through some sort of digitally mediated stream rather than our own direct senses whether it's this conversation that we're having over the internet or news that we're reading that somebody else heard, it was written down, or transmitted to us, etc. If you had lived 200 years ago and you were a farmer, a lot of the information you got was from the work of your own hands. I would have known how the soil worked because I dig the soil with my own shovel and had first-hand experience with the world. You might not have known a lot but the things that you would've known came from direct experience and not mediated by any third party." - Jesse Lawler "Groupthink is definitely a danger. If you're in a group of 10 or 12 people, what the first person says has a primacy effect and can really affect what everyone else says. The first one to speak up is usually one of the more dominant ones of the group and holds a lot of social capital among everyone and it becomes harder for each person to voice their own opinions if that's something that's going to cause conflict. So, when I seek advice, I try to get advice individually from a group so that they're not coloring one another's opinion." - Jesse Lawler "The world is something that we make. If we're giving everybody participation awards and if a kid feels like they're the specialist snowflake in their class just by virtue of being there, that doesn't necessarily set themselves up for today's world but it might set them up for the world that exists in 20 years when if you feel bothered by anything outside, you can just plug into virtual reality where all of a sudden you're the star of your own television show in a Trumanesque world." - Jesse Lawler Links From Today's Show Jesse Lawler Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Smart Drug Smarts Facebook Twitter YouTube WFR 097 Jesse Lawler: Brainpower, Consciousness, & The Placebo Effect WFR 036 Jesse Lawler: How to Build A Bulletproof Brain Smart Drug Smarts Podcast Smart Drug Smarts Podcast #220 - Cognitive Fallacies with Dr. Richard E. How being curious about the world around us can continue to keep us young at heart. Power Quotes From The Show "Be really gentle with yourself. Follow the ebb and flow in the reality of your life but seek to have fun with it. Enjoying what you do is the most important thing to a successful health practice over the length of a lifespan." - Dan Pardi of @humanOS_me http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "In order for someone to adopt and sustain healthy behaviors long-term, they should understand why they're doing something, how to do it, if they're doing it correctly, and if it's working. You can see that those are four really discrete factors and so you do need to understand health science. We can't totally outsource research because you're going to be the one that's making decisions in your life; nobody's going to make more decisions that you will. So, having some knowledge about all these things that can affect your health is actually an opportunity." - Dan Pardi "The replication crisis demonstrates that studies should be replicated with a different lab. With a detailed method section, someone should be able to pick up that study, follow the protocol, do exactly the same study, and get a very similar result. Often times, the real crisis is that we're not seeing enough replication because of incentives from the journals. Journals want to publish new, positive information versus what's been done before." - Dan Pardi "Don't you want experts involved in the generation of new compounds that could help patients? Don't you want people that have tons of patient experience that understand the ins and outs of seeing an individual of all different types come into their clinic? Don't you want them to have a voice in the process from the very beginning so that they can guide the clinical development program in a manner that's going to lead us to the best understanding of whether or not this drug can help?" - Dan Pardi "Part of the mindset of someone who is seeking health expertise is someone who recognizes that habits aren't just something that we learn in a week or a month; it's an ongoing process. Part of the right mindset is somebody who thinks of themselves as a regular learner by taking in new information, thinking about it, drawing diagrams, and talking about it in their community." - Dan Pardi "Instead of viewing the Ketogenic as, 'Is this the right diet?' view it as 'I'm going to give it a try. How did I do with it? What did I learn about my body from trying it?' The same thing with the Mediterranean diet; instead of viewing it as the best diet ever, we can look at the benefits of it. It's really impossible to decide which diet is best but it's certainly not impossible to say what diet is best for you because you can try it and if you feel really good, you like the food, and it's sustainable plus you're getting the results you want, then that's great." - Dan Pardi Links From Today's Show Dan Pardi Twitter Instagram LinkedIn humanOS.me Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube humanOS Radio humanOS Radio 031 The Ketogenic Diet and Diabetes - a New Study by Virta Health (Guest Dr. Stephan Guyenet) WFR 012 Dan Pardi: Living A Healthy Lifestyle In A Modern World WFR 088 Dan Pardi: How to Find The Health You're Looking For Virta Health Dr. Stephan Guyenet Dr. Begoña Ruiz-Núñez Dr. David Katz 23andMe Promethease The Feynman Technique WFR 011 Ariel Garten WFR 084 Dr. David Perlmutter WFR 129 Gretch Rubin WFR 183 Dr. Kyra Bobinet WFR 196 Aubrey Marcus  About Dan Pardi Dan’s life’s work centers on how to help people live healthfully. 205 Wendy Myers: How To Live To 110

Metal detoxification and addressing the body bioenergetically is really important. I actually haven't seen anything that works as well as bioenergetics as far as addressing health issues. Heavy metals and chemicals are definitely a huge threat to our health on so many levels. - Wendy Myers JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST  20% OFF ORGANIFI - USE CODE: WELLNESSFORCE What are the various metal detoxing strategies for adults, athletes, and children? In Wellness Force Radio episode 205, Founder of Myers Detox, Host of both the Live to 110 and Supercharged Podcasts as well as NES Health Practitioner, Wendy Myers, uncovers the proper order for metal detoxification, the differences between light and heavy metal detoxing, and whether or not fluoride is actually good for us. Learn all about the various, simple approaches you can take to detox, heal, and avoid metal toxins every day of your life. "Energy medicine is the future. The energy that we put out into the world comes back to us. My clients have experienced profound, amazing changes from metal detoxes so it's a privilege to be able to offer that to people." - @MyersDetox http://bit.ly/wfpodcast   Are heavy metals making you sick? Take Wendy Myers' Metals Quiz to find out! Heavy metal toxicity is often behind digestive issues, systemic infections, stubborn weight gain, brain fog, autoimmune disease, and chronic health conditions. Have you been to many health professionals and not been helped? Are your symptoms robbing you of your joy (and your life)? You’re not crazy. The simple reality for ALL of us is that we have been accumulating metals and chemicals for our entire lives. No matter how healthy you eat or take care of yourself, you CANNOT achieve true health unless you purge heavy metals and environmental chemicals from your body and replenish mineral deficiencies. Heavy Metal Detoxification is the only way to truly reverse disease, heal the body and meet your health goals. Today, a healthy diet and lifestyle alone are not enough to achieve optimal health given the levels of toxins in the environment and our bodies.   Listen To Episode 205 As Wendy Myers Uncovers: Myths and mistakes people make about detoxication including juice cleanses. The various health discussions she would have with her father while he was alive and how that inspired her to live a life full of wellness. How big pharmaceutical companies aren't just harming the health of patients with prescribed medication but also censoring what holistic health practitioners and natural medicine experts are sharing online. What being an NES Health Practitioner is all about and how their bioenergetic program can help those who need to detox. Her three-step process to help people start thinking about doing a detox called the Mitochondria Detox that includes a binder, bioenergetic supplement, and an activated silica. How to detox through nutrition and which foods she recommends eating including those with tons of fiber. Why a juice fast isn't the best choice for a detox because there isn't any fiber included in the nutrition. If the liver naturally helps us detox, do we really need to go through a detoxification process? Why coffee enemas are such a great way of keeping the liver healthy. Whether or not it's actually necessary to test yourself to see if you need to detox. The order of steps you should follow for proper detoxification. How detoxification works for children compared to adults. The fact that toxic metals are everywhere - in air, food, water, and even beauty products like deodorant. Simple approaches you can take to detox and avoid metal toxins every day. Photobiomodulation - Can infrared lights help us detox as well? What other benefits do they have? Types of detoxing protocols athletes can follow. The differences between light and heavy metal detoxing The real truth about fluoride and whether or not it's actually good for us. Ongoing misconceptions that simply aren't true about detoxing from heavy metals. The fact that we just cannot escape metal toxins even if we live outside of a largely populated city. Power Quotes From The Show "Since I started bioenergetics, I have a lot more awareness around energy and how other people's energy affects us. It's about how you utilize your energy, will, thoughts, and attitude for your life, decisions, and happiness." - @MyersDetox http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "There's only so much you can do to reduce the number of metal toxins but there are some obvious things you can do like not eating sushi every day and drinking tap water, but no matter how hard you try, you can't protect yourself from everything. Believe me, I've tried. So, that's why you should have a simple, sensible lifelong detoxification strategy whether it's taking a supplement, a coffee enema, or infrared sauna; just focus on doing something small every single day to facilitate and help your body remove these toxins." - Wendy Myers "Detoxification takes energy so that's a price that a lot of athletes don't want to pay while they're trying to train or competitions. So, just taking binders or doing a mitochondria detox is a really great way to detox and facilitate your body's ability to detox. When an athlete has some downtime, that's when they can focus on doing a more hardcore, intense detoxification protocol." - Wendy Myers "We don't want fluoride in our body at all. You need trace amounts of it but the fluoride that's in toothpaste is actually an industrial waste product and it's something that we do not need. The fluoride that's in our drinking water was a very, very bad idea because it's known to cause cancer, interfere with thyroid function, reduce the number of minerals in our bones, and decrease our ability to produce melatonin. So, fluoridation is very toxic to our body and I recommend that everyone removes all fluoridated based products from their body as well as drinking and shower water." - Wendy Myers   Links From Today's Show Wendy Myers Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn YouTube The Metals Quiz Live to 110 Podcast #232 Physical & Emotional Intelligence for the Modern World with Josh Trent Supercharged Podcast The Myers Detox Store Myers Detox Protocol NES Health Bioenergetics Harry Massey and NES Health Sterling Hill NES Health Testimonial Mike Adams and Natural News The Body Keeps The Score by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk WFR 121 Dr. David Minkoff WFR 149 Johnny Blackburn WFR 184 Scott Nelson About Wendy Myers Wendy Myers, FDN-P, NC, CHHC is an expert in detoxification, heavy metals, and minerals, and host of The Medicinal Supplements Summit and Heavy Metals Summit. 204 Robyn Openshaw: What's Your Frequency Type?

You have to start with yourself by being honest with people when they hurt your feelings and accept the fact that they might do it again. You have to stand there in that vulnerability and a temporary feeling of loneliness but doing that actually results in the repair of relationships, restoration of love between the two of you, and just a lot more compassion for you from the other person when they see how honest and open you are about how you feel. - Robyn Openshaw Are you open to letting go of deep-set beliefs and elements of your identity that aren't serving you well? JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST  20% OFF ORGANIFI - USE CODE: WELLNESSFORCE In Wellness Force Radio episode 204, author of 15 books including her latest, Vibe - Unlock the Energetic Frequencies of Limitless Health, Love, & Success, podcast host of Vibe with Robyn Openshaw, and CEO of Green Smoothie Girl, Robyn Openshaw, reveals why feelings of shame and guilt exist for a reason, how to control your mindset and emotions through higher vibrations, and her top three healing frequency practices that you can do now to get in a positive flow state. Learn how Robyn was able to heal her low-vibration life and over 21 different diseases by practicing high-frequency exercises. "Everything has a specific frequency; even a thought or an emotion. Everything in life is vibration. Even Nikola Tesla said, 'If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” - @Robyn_Openshaw http://bit.ly/wfpodcast When you buy the autographed hardcover book, VIBE, we’ll send you the  Vibe Accelerator Video Masterclass (value $75) plus $89 in Bonuses FREE! In Vibe, bestselling author Robyn Openshaw reveals the difference between low vibration emotions (fear, anger, inertia) and high vibration emotions (love, inner peace, gratitude) and helps readers dramatically impact their physical and mental well-being by raising their vibrational frequencies. Most of us are vaguely familiar with this concept, but we don’t realize the powerful implications this has for our choices every day—which foods to eat, how much water to drink, what we think about when we’re in the car or the shower, what our risk of disease is, and how we feel at any given moment are all affected by the power of vibration. Everything in health and wellness should revolve around the basic concept that what we choose to eat and what we choose to do lowers or raises our vibration. And that makes all the difference.   Robyn Openshaw’s new book VIBE will teach you how to: Use your natural energetic powers to attract more amazing people and opportunities into your life. Eat “high frequency” foods for energy that requires no stimulants. “Ground” and “charge” daily in just a few minutes (powerful anti-depressant). Discover how to live in gratitude, joy, and peace—and eliminate fear and anxiety in 90 seconds. The various forms of energy that modern medicine uses to help and heal people in the form of lasers. Josh's results from the Frequency Quiz he took from her book, Vibe. The individual frequency that you're putting out every single day of your life and how that affects the people around you. The energetic frequencies that happen in the body when it comes to relationships, nutrition, and performance Why feelings of shame and guilt exist for a reason but we don't have to allow them to hijack our system. Various vibration and frequency exercises practiced at the HeartMath Institute. Her low-vibration life during her 20s and how she faced an accumulation of over 21 different diseases. both mental obstacles and physical struggles.  How you can get yourself into the perfect flow state thanks to good nutrition and high vibrations. The environment she grew up in and how that affected choices she made during her 20s. How to control your mindset and emotions through higher vibrations.  The fact that the average lifespan of an emotion is just 90 seconds. How to locate your emotion, name it, and figure out why you're feeling it.  Skills you can develop to be able to deal with your vulnerability and sad emotions. An example of how she came up with a solution to deal with someone who annoyed her rather than getting angry at him. Why it's harder to let go of negative emotions as adults compared to when we were children and why giving love to other people feels like work for some people. How you can develop high vibration characteristics and why breath can transform fear into excitement. How a detox helped her let go of deep hurt that experienced as a child. The foods and smoothie ingredients she recommends the most to stay at a heavy vibration frequency. Power Quotes From The Show "Like attracts like and resident frequencies attract each other. So, sometimes you can be attracted to somebody who you think is very different than you but that's not the point. The point isn't sameness; it's resident frequencies." - @Robyn_Openshaw http://bit.ly/wfpodcast "Vibration is an actual quantifiable thing even if it's not very tangible because you cannot necessarily see it. However, everything is emanating energy because everything actually is energy. Einstein has said, 'Everything in life is vibration,' and nobody understood what he said, but even today standard of care medicine is using energy in the form of lasers to operate and heal." - Robyn Openshaw "So much of our misery is self-created because we don't just flow with change. We need to learn how to let go of more things. I'm not saying, 'Don't try hard and don't have values;' I'm saying that there are so many things that you are clinging to that are not serving you and if you let the energy flow through, let it teach you what it's going to teach you. It might cause you pain and suffering but not for years and years." - Robyn Openshaw "Anger is a fake emotion. Usually, when we're angry we're actually really hurt and sad. For some reason, it's more macho and socially acceptable to show anger but when we show our sadness and authentic self, you get a far better response from other people. We do have negative emotions for a reason whether it's anger or sadness and they're not bad; they're just going to cost you over time as they become chronic emotions and they don't ever move through you unless you work with them."- Robyn Openshaw "Taking a deep breath is as simple and powerful as anything there is. Taking several deep breaths just allows you to oxygenate the whole body. Too many of us are suffering from anxiety and we find ourselves shallowing breathing for hours at a time. Breath turns fear into excitement." - Robyn Openshaw Links From Today's Show Robyn Openshaw Facebook LinkedIn Green Smoothie Girl Twitter Instagram YouTube Vibe Book Offer Vibe with Robyn Openshaw – Podcast Bioenergetics “The Biggest Loser” Bob Harper Changes His Position on Low-Carb Diets Robyn’s Favorite Things The Vibrational Frequencies of Essential Oils Does Food Really Have a Vibration?
