The Real Secret to "Hearing Him" Daily
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast.God has often introduced Jesus Christ as His Son accompanied by the phrase, “Hear Him.” This charge to follow the Savior and hear Him in our lives is one of great importance. It can also feel overwhelming at times. These are moments when I remember the teaching from the Book of Mormon, “by small and simple things are great things brought to pass.”Dieter F. Uchtdorf also teaches this, “Isn’t it interesting how small, seemingly insignificant factors can make a major difference in our lives? Most of the changes in our spiritual lives—both positive and negative—happen gradually, a step at a time.” Let’s dive into that and find ways we can make small changes in our lives that will help us “hear Him” more.Join the FREE 5-Days to Hear Him Challengehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/hearhimGet your Mother’s Day Prayer Journal’s Herehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/Prayer-JournalCheck out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints resources on “Hearing Him”https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/media/collection/hear-him-featured?lang=engCheck out what other resources are available from Nikihttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.comFollow Niki on social media for more free contenthttps://www.instagram.com/nikiolsencoaching/Need a Christmas Gift for a neighbor, friend, ministering sister or coworker? Transcending Self Deception
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast.I would be willing to bet you have experienced self-deception before. You are a human living in a fallen world and that is part of the challenge of living here. The challenge of a deception that comes from within you. In the form of feeling inadequate, not good enough, overwhelmed, needing to be perfect, always needing to do more (never satisfied) and that weaknesses disqualify you.Why is it that we are all experiencing this?Well because opposition was placed inside of each of us at the fall of Adam and Eve and we will experience these types of thoughts. We ALL have those thoughts. That is why it is important to recognize WHEN your thoughts are being deceptive and having the tools to allow Satan to convince you they are true.Check out the Spiritual Survival Course Today!https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/spiritual-survival-courseDon’t miss out on your opportunity to learn to quiet down that internal self-deception!Join the waitlist for the Removing Roadblocks to Revelation Group Coaching Programhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/rrr-waitlistHere are some other episodes you might enjoy! The Belief that Keeps You From the Blessing of Repentance
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast. What thought comes to mind when you hear the word repentance? For me, it has almost always been sin. Or more specifically, seeking forgiveness from sin. Is that what you thought?Well guess what? Repentance is actually a very diverse multifaceted word.Christ not only atoned for the sins that we will inevitably commit while we are on this Earth, he also atoned for our heartaches, burdens and pains of living in a fallen world. In today’s podcast we explore that definition and what it can mean to us when we apply it in multiple ways.
