Decision Making Through The Spirit
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast.Making decisions in your life can often feel anxiety-provoking, confusing, or overwhelming. Even small ones can sometimes make you feel that way.Making decisions is interesting because we aren’t always faced with a clear good option and bad option. Sometimes we are faced with all good options or all bad options then we can really be confused right? This can cause you to feel fearful about making the wrong decision. I see this often with the women I work with.Which makes sense, you don’t want to be out there purposefully making the wrong decision. But there is a principle at play here that makes certainty not an option. That principle is faith.President Oak’s talk: Our Strengths Can Become Our Downfall https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/1994/10/our-strengths-can-become-our-downfall?lang=eng&id=title5%2Cp16%2Cp17Join the waitlist for the Removing Roadblocks to Revelation Group Coaching programhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/removing-roadblocks-to-revelationFREE Mini Course: Creating A Consistent Spiritual Routine https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/creating-a-consistent-spiritual-routine-registrationYou might also enjoy these episodes from the Meaningful Minutes PodcastEpisode 35: The Art of Aligning Your Will with God Through PrayerEpisode 28. Rim to Rim THE Experience Part 4
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast.I did it! I hiked the Grand Canyon. Rim to Rim in ONE day. I have shared in past episodes the spiritual lessons I was learning as I prepared myself physically for the hike and now I am sharing about the hike itself.I am not an avid hiker so this was definitely out of my comfort zone and it was so worth it.We left earlier than planned, the trail was different than what we had expected, and there was an excessive heat warning. Not everything went as planned but the adventure was fun, I learned a lot, and pushed myself to do something I had never done before.Watch this episode on YOUTUBE to see all the pictures and videos!https://youtu.be/c-BLZCPtb9k FREE Mini Course: Creating A Consistent Spiritual Routine https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/creating-a-consistent-spiritual-routine-registrationEnjoy these other episodes from my Grand Canyon preparation!Episode 45: Rim to Rim, My Spiritual Experience Part 1https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/episode%2045 Episode 52: Rim to Rim, a Spiritual Experience Part 2. Rim to Rim: My Spiritual Experience Part 3
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast.I am finally hiking the Rim to Rim trail of the Grand Canyon. A 24 mile 6,000 ft elevation change hike in one day. I have been preparing for months and luckily I am taking my brothers and their spouses along with me so the prep work has been fun and encouraging. If you go back and listen to these episodes, you will see that I was inspired by an amazing woman Abi Ayres that I interviewed to do this hike. When I was listening to her tell her story of the hike I clearly heard the Spirit tell me I had to do this hike. Then, as I was questioning the Spirit why I needed to do such a thing, the Spirit told me this was not a physical goal, this is a spiritual goal.Listen to today’s episode as I share more of what I am learning in my journey and download the worksheet to apply those same lessons to your life!Download today’s worksheet to track your progress.https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/episode-59Episode 45: Rim to Rim, My Spiritual Experience Part 1https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/episode%2045 Episode 52: Rim to Rim, a Spiritual Experience Part 2. Why Trying to Prevent Problems May be Hurting You
Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast.Unfortunately, many people hold the idea that all hardships and trials we face are a result of sin. But that does not align with the Savior’s teachings. He taught, in John 9:3, “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”If we go about trying to prevent those inevitables from happening we will feel even more pain, stress, disappointment, fear, failure, and not good enough. It’s not about just sitting aside and saying ok then, I will just let bad things happen and do nothing. It’s about fortifying yourself for the future, preparing for those times to happen and what you will do.In this week’s episode I discuss specific steps we can actually take to fortify ourselves. My Spiritual Survival Course will help you implement those steps into your daily life.
