Living is Giving, and this aligns with the Law of Love. How better to demonstrate ‘I am still as God created me’ than to know I am under no laws but God’s. I am empowered by miracles, which Light the way in a darkened world. I do not create myself, for God is my Source and Creator. As an innocent Child of God, I am not at the mercy of the world. The world is not outside my mind, and I can elect to change all thoughts that hurt. The world is nothing more than a reflection of my mind. Today I would think only the thoughts of Love that come from God.

David shares the experience of Divine Mind behind ACIM WB Lesson 50: I am sustained by the Love of GodTrust and Faith combine into a sustaining experience of Care and Safety and Security that are not of the body or linear time. Miracles light the way, and darkness fades and disappears. Peace of Mind requires no thoughts of the past or future, which are unreal memories and imagined fictitious outcomes only found in dreams. Reality beckons through the Present moment and beyond to a Continuity of Spirit and Everlasting Life in God.

You are the dreamer of the world of dreams. 2 No other cause it has, nor ever will. 3 Nothing more fearful than an idle dream has terrified God's Son, and made him think that he has lost his innocence, denied his Father, and made war upon himself. 4 So fearful is the dream, so seeming real, he could not waken to reality without the sweat of terror and a scream of mortal fear, unless a gentler dream preceded his awaking, and allowed his calmer mind to welcome, not to fear, the Voice that calls with love to waken him; a gentler dream, in which his suffering was healed and where his brother was his friend. 5 God willed he waken gently and with joy, and gave him means to waken without fear. In the second session of the "Limitless and Free — A Life Without Compromise" online retreat, David Hoffmeister reminds us that the overall title for these online retreats "Awakening from the Dream" is because we are not trying to improve ourselves or make the world a better place; Who we are is already perfect and doesn’t need improvement. He also shares that the reason why we do not experience the limitlessness and freedom we yearn for is because we have taken on a very false sense of personal responsibility. Constant maintenance of a personal body, a family, a community, or the world is a false responsibility that stems from being deeply wound into a personal self concept that keeps us compromising on a daily basis and ties us to a world of form.
