David continues his movie talks from the Into the Kingdom retreat with a spectacular quantum movie called "Next" (2007). “Holland is going bye bye” is David's opening remark as he invites everyone in the audience to go much deeper than they ever have during this week-long retreat! David shares that when we perceive the world through the ego perspective, we get tricked. Everything we perceive and believe is upside down and backward. In the end, it takes us to the recognition that we have only one issue, a time issue. In this session from the evening of day three of the Into the Kingdom retreat, David gives a talk on the movie "Rocketman" (2019) which gives us a glimpse into the life of Elton John and dramatically displays the ups and downs of international stardom and his own call for love. David also explains why he started many years ago to use movies for healing the mind. Jesus had guided him to be attentive to his feelings when he was watching movies. The mind's awareness expands when you consciously decide to look at it and become more and more detached from all the thoughts and beliefs that are occupying it. In this session from the evening of day two of the Into the Kingdom retreat, David gives a talk on the movie "Yesterday" (2019). The main character in the movie experiences a calling to which he has some doubt and resistance, but miracles can't be performed where there is fear or doubt. Miracles require your willingness. You can't prevent God from shining on you, but the ego can temporarily prevent God from shining through you. You don't have to be perfect to receive miracles, but you do need to reach an open state of mind where you can still your mind and come into alignment with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and say, "Here I am, Lord. In the morning of day three of the Into the Kingdom retreat in Holland, David Hoffmeister shares about the previous night's movie “Yesterday” and reminds us about the Beatles influence on our mind and John Lennon's extension of love through the music.We get to hear about David's own journey with Jesus and A Course in Miracles and he emphasizes the importance of purpose. Early on, David received guidelines for the community in the form of “no people pleasing and no private thoughts” which to this day are still being practiced in the Living Miracles community. We also get to hear about Frances' journey towards community and how it all started for her. In this talk David also shares about the new Living Miracles center in Mallorca, Spain, and the journey of miracles around it.
