John Townley is best known as the astrologer who popularized the composite chart, a tool that's become indispensable when doing relationship astrology. We have a second episode coming up that's a more technical astrology episode where we discuss the composite, but this episode is STORIES + MEMORIES. We discuss John's childhood, his parents, learning to read on a boat, studying music with the Rev. John Townley is a pioneer astrologer, musician, journalist, and maritime historian – he is the “father” of the composite chart,  which he introduced in 1973, and his work with astrological and natural cycles has focused on exploring the physical basis for astrology. Glenn Perry, Ph.D., is an astrologer and licensed psychotherapist in Melbourne, FL, USA. In addition to private practice, Dr. Perry is currently director and lead faculty at the Academy of AstroPsychology, an online school that offers a two-year Diploma Program. Glenn has written nine books, including An Introduction to AstroPsychology, and served twenty years as Board member, ethics chair, and research advisor for the International Society of Astrological Research (ISAR).
