106. Stop Arguing For Your Limitations

The most impactful phrase on my life in 2022 was "stop arguing for your limitations." I think a lot of people who have this idea of wanting to do something in their life but make excuses on the “why” genuinely do not understand that the only person getting in their way of their dreams, is theirself. In this episode, we break down examples of limitations you might be using in your everyday life, and also how to overcome those limitations one by one. It’s honestly not about how you do it, it’s about when. It only takes a short amount of time to break a cycle and put an end to what you do not think is possible for yourself, so join me in becoming powerful, successful and truly limitless.    In this episode, we cover… What are limitations How your own limitations are keeping you stuck Examples of excuses you are currently using, even if you DON'T realize it How do you develop limitations Tap into being limitless How to shift your mindset and not argue for your limitations   “Stop arguing for your limitations, stop being in that victim mode of not even giving yourself a chance for a possibility.”  “The things that make you feel safe are the things that are holding you back.” “You get to choose your hard. Life is not about not being hard, life is not about avoiding hard things but you  do get to choose what “hard” means to you and what you take on in your life.”   Thanks for listening, and if you like what you've heard, feel free to share this episode with your friends! If you liked this mini moment, check out the rest of this full episode here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/71-the-4-different-buyer-types-and-how-to-sell-to/id1529443551?i=1000543344315 Summary There are 4 types of buyers in this business and you will need to know each one and how they think if you are looking to get into this space. In this mini episode Natasha Zyrok, a business mentor who has scaled her business to achieve massive growth, breaks down the different buyer types and explains the psychology of selling to each type effectively.   Our Favorite Quotes “That analytic buyer is that very very perfectionist like a detail oriented buyer, you need all the information readily available, so like the price, the features, you need to be able to make that empowered decision by yourself. Zoned in, you need to make that decision and then go to your person and say hey the decision is made.”    “The amicable buyer wants to be put in a little love cocoon, they want to be loved by you, they want to be loved by the audience.”    “The driver buyers are drawn to that undeniable authority, you don’t shy away from money talk and you don’t shy away from showing up without presents and owning your wins in a form of inspirational and transformational. You are living the dream.”    “Ride or die expressive followers, once they trust you they are rocking with you. They are in love with you. That's why I'm always saying you are your best asset.”      Thanks for listening, and if you like what you've heard, I would greatly appreciate you sharing this episode with your friends or on your Instagram stories (and tag @laptop.lifestyle.co)! Happy Holidays! I can’t believe another year has passed and we have so much to look back on and look forward to. In 2022, I took a major step back. I needed to restructure my time, set more boundaries, and maintain my business. There were so many changes in my business and in my personal life I am so thankful this year taught me things I truly needed and I will most definitely be taking them into 2023! In this episode I’ll be discussing the many challenges, successes and changes in 2022 and what's coming, what's going and what's here to stay for 2023, a New Year!    In this episode, we cover… Reviewing the year in my business upcoming ambitions and new adventures predictions, preparing and positioning myself for 2023 setting clear boundaries What's coming, what's going and what's here to stay committing and challenging yourself in the future   “Are you committing to showing up everyday in the way that you need to? Are you committed to working out your schedule and setting aside the time even when you don’t feel like it? What are you committing to? Make the freaking commitment and get accountability to hold you to that commitment.”    ““The influx of people entering this space created lack of quality, to put it lightly, because there is no regulation in this space, there is no need necessarily for certifications or years of experience so it’s this really cool message of like hey, anyone can do this. You can hop in and become anything you want, but the asterisk to that is that you still have to deliver.”   Thanks for listening, and if you like what you've heard, feel free to share this episode with your friends! 102. Stop Over Complicating Things

I am the first one to admit I over complicate almost everything in my life down to small details surrounding my day to day. So why do we over complicate things and why do we try to justify those complications instead of working on our thought patterns and well being? Well, in this episode we jump in to fine print questions, solutions, and everything in between! We can give ourselves a million excuses of why we do and think the way we do, but the simplest answer is we have to STOP making excuses and start actually doing the hard tasks of working on simplifying the simple details in our life.  In this episode, we cover… Action steps to take to simplify your life A few ways we over think small things Calming the chaos Working through stress and why your body could use a break What to do and how to manage the complicated tasks   “Society has trained us to over complicate things by essentially working longer hours or always doing the most.”  “If there is a simple solution, it may not turn out or have all the factors the exact way that we want it.” “If you grew up in a chaotic environment for many many years, there’s a chance that your nervous system may feel more comfortable in that chaotic environment.”   Thanks for listening, and if you like what you've heard, feel free to share this episode with your friends! Mini Moments Ep 88: My #1 Focus to Start Making Money ASAP If I Started Today

In these "Mini Moments" we pull some of my favorite and most impactful mini lessons from past episodes of the Made for More Podcast to give you a quick digestible lesson in under 10 minutes. If you liked this mini moment, check out the rest of this full episode here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/88-if-i-had-to-start-over-this-is-what-i-would-do/id1529443551?i=1000559442078   Summary Starting a business is tough work, and we all love to think we can do it all by ourselves. We like to think it’s us against the world and we have to tackle the hardest parts of owning a business all alone, but that is simply not true. While working almost all day, making no money and trying to figure it out all by myself was my strategy (which I am not recommending) there are so many resources now to utilize and take full advantage of that can truly help you. I will be the first to say that owning a business is not for everyone, but if you have the drive and passion to make it through those tough points in your first couple years, there is magic waiting for you on the other side. Our Favorite Quotes “I was just lost, trying to do everything under the sun.” “I was working 10-12 hour days, and I didn’t even have a business. Half that time was spent researching stuff because I wanted to know it all and this is definitely one of my worst mistakes.”  “Something that I would do if I was starting over is make sure I had at least one offer even if that was my only offer that was over $1,000.”  "I had built a personal brand, where I showed up every single day before I even made a single dollar."   Thanks for listening, and if you like what you've heard, I would greatly appreciate you sharing this episode with your friends or on your Instagram stories (and tag @laptop.lifestyle.co)!
