Ep. 21: A Quick Look At What You Didn't Learn In Sex Education Class
Many of us went through a sex education class in school, most likely in biology class. But oftentimes, sex ed is reduced to nothing more than a class on risk mitigation. Instead of giving women the full explanation of how our bodies work, all we are told is what sex is, and how to avoid pregnancy and STDs. When it comes to human sexuality, there is so much more, especially when we focus on the amazing and complex nature of women's fertility. The hormonal symphony of our body is not only designed to have procreative power but is also a vital sign of health. We deserve more education than what is offered in traditional sex ed, and it's not too late! In this episode, Jamie and Teresa discuss this important topic and how you can be empowered to learn more about your body!
