About Nikita Fedorov: Nikita is an entrepreneur and professional with over 13 years of experience in web development, software testing and automatization. He has a Master’s degree in solid state physics and is an expert in custdev, product development, team management and customer interaction in flexible methodologies. He started his career as a PHP developer, and in 2016 became head of web development in one of the leading national internet holdings, The RU-CENTER group.
In 2017, he became a team tech lead in charge of billing and payment systems in Avito, the largest classified marketplace in the world. Alongside his team, he reduced product testing time from 2 days to 2 hours, fully automated all processes, rebuilt teams into cross-functionality and built a process of continuous product delivery. Nikita and his team also completely eliminated the chargeback fraud that was costing the company over $200K a month. Additionally, he was in charge of the whole PCI DSS certification process. While working in web development, Nikita faced a problem: He couldn't find a test management system that met his requirements for tracking both manual and automated tests with a single tool. All solutions looked a little outdated and focused only on manual testing, so he decided to develop the platform himself. He worked on this idea for 2 years while maintaining a corporate job.
In 2018, after seeing a huge demand on the market for a system like that, he finally decided to test his platform. In no time, he gained the first 100 users and decided to quit his job and dedicate his career to this platform. Today, Qase.io is one of the first companies to launch a system that is changing the traditional landscape by providing an intuitive TMS that simplifies life for dev and QA teams. The company has over 100K B2B clients. The platform is trusted by Meetup, Exante, Crypto.com, and its major clients include Wolt, Asana. William transitioned to the APAC Knowledge Manager role where he focused on training and quality systems management for regional and global projects. William then ventured outside of Google to build and direct the Outbound Sales Teams for TradeGecko (QuickBooks Acquired) as Director, and then as Vice President for MyDoc, both Singapore-based startups.
