How a Roar Can Help You

You may have heard the saying “In like a lion, out like a lamb.” Sometimes, all we need to relieve a bit of stress – and we’re all a bit stressed – is to let out a roar. Stretching Out the Hamstring Myth

One of the most common myths about the body is this idea that we should constantly be stretching our hamstrings. It’s really common for your hamstrings to feel tight. Most people feel this and assume that they need to stretch them out. That’s the myth. A feeling is not the same as actual, structural tightness, so stretching often won’t solve the problem. What should you do, instead? To learn more, and for the complete show notes, visit: lytyoga.com/blog/category/podcasts/Resources:Instagram: @lara.heimannRedefining Yoga is a production of Crate Media Hosted on Acast. Leaving Pain in the Past: An Alternative to Talk Therapy with Rachelle McCloud

Rachelle McCloud wants us to leave our pain in the past. Talk therapy is valid and has a lot to offer, but so much of it is about thoughts, stories, and reliving old chapters of our lives to find out why things happened. Rachelle McCloud has a new approach, which is to bypass all that. She wants to take us straight to the root cause so that we can find a solution. She has some amazing insights into how our bodies process (or don’t process, as is often the case) trauma and pain. Sometimes, we might not have processed something mentally, but it’s still stored in our muscles and our physical self. Rachelle’s mission is to find where and when we’re doing this so that we can finally move past it.To learn more, and for the complete show notes, visit: lytyoga.com/blog/category/podcasts/Resources:Rachelle McCloud’s websiteRedefining Yoga is a production of Crate Media Hosted on Acast.
