Ep 264: Five Ways You Burn Your Energy And Peace Of Mind

Start Your Transformation NowMy brother-in-law, Don Xavier, once said to me, “You can’t do a whole lot without peace of mind.”Your peace of mind determines your quality of life yet we give our power away and squander it by living in fear and worry. In this episode, I talk about five ways you may squander your power and peace of mind. When you squander your power you give up your ability to manifest, heal, and tap into Divine wisdom. And of course, you give up your peace of mind. Here are the five ways you may give up your power. I share the bullets and then I dive into each of them in this episode.EXPECTATIONS – When you stop having expectations the actions of others stop affecting you.OFFENSE –If the actions of others offend you, you’ll spend your lifetime offended.SELF-PITY – Animals do not have self-pity. It’s a waste of your power.TRIGGERS –These are your most powerful tools for growth.ATTACHMENT – This is your greatest source of suffering. These poisons rob you of your power and it’s vital that you become aware of how these play out in your life.Your objective should be to conserve and build your power, not deplete it. And, when you start mastering these concepts you start to build your power.Transformational Takeaway: You can do nothing well without peace of mind.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 262: The Best Unheard Encore Episode Ever!

Start Your Transformation NowI have not run an Encore episode in a few years, and this is one of my best episodes ever, and…it has never played here to my own audience. You’re going to love this one! This episode is from September 3, 2017, and I was a guest on my friend James Wedmore’s podcast. Soon after he interviewed me he became a coaching client, and after that, we have remained close friends for many years. I have not asked him in a while but for years this was his most downloaded episode, and to date, he has one of the most popular podcasts out there, with over 12,000,000 downloads. If it were not for this episode, I’d not be doing my very own podcast. I owe James a huge debt of gratitude and a massive thank you for all he has done for me over the years. Thank you, James! When I did this episode, I was not yet doing transformational coaching full-time, as I am now, but the whole episode is about transformation. We talk about:  Why people really won’t change their mindset (even when they say it’s needed).  The reasons the personal development industry is “broken.”  How the right way to make lasting change is the opposite of what most will do.  What the three levels of thinking are.  The 6 words that will change your life!  Jim’s tips on making integrity a key part of your identity (and why it’s necessary).  The real reason why it is so hard to quit bad habits. And, of course, much, much more!  100s of 1000s of people have commented on and enjoyed this episode, and I hope you do too. You can find James at jameswedmoretraining.com. Ep 261: Pretend Your Life Is Made Up

Start Your Transformation NowThink about what scares you. Now, think about what makes you happy. How much of your life do you spend in fear? How much of your life do you spend in joy? Here is a truism that will set you free. Every fear you have, every joy you have…it’s all made up in your mind! You made it all up. I know that sounds banal and ridiculous, but that’s the truth. Everything that brings you to what you want in life or takes you away from it us made up in your mind. You have heard me say it before, and maybe now it sinks in if I say it in a different way, but you are the creator. You are the creator of every single aspect of your life. You make it all up. And, here is the kicker, most us make up the same things over and over and over again. Even when we don’t like them, why keep making them up. Why? Because most of us make up our lives not from the here and now but from the past. We create our now from our past. Many times people can say, “Yes Jim, I know that.” Well, if you did know it why are you keep making up what you don’t want in your life? Ponder that? So either you don’t know it like you think you do, or you enjoy pain. Which is it? I’m going to keep this simple. Everything about your life, with the exception of being alive, is made up in your head, and then what people do is pretend what they made up is real, and that keeps them trapped. In this episode we’re going to quickly take a look into your fears, and my objective is to have you realize and accept that you make them all up in your mind, and when you do that…you can free yourself from your fears. Transformational Takeaway: The truth is that your thoughts are not real. Your fears are not real. You created them. Your thoughts are a fabrication of your mind. Your fears are a fabrication of your mind. All the “bad” things in your life are not bad, it’s the interpretations that you make up in your mind that make them so.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 260: Your Identity Causes Your Biggest Problems And Keeps You Trapped

Start Your Transformation NowSo, we’ve been talking about identity for two months now, and I want to finish the identity series with a problem solving approach. The only reason you listen to the podcast is because you’re wanting to solve a problem, and for most, specifically, that problem is how to create a better quality of life. With global audience I have coached, when I ask people, “What is your biggest obstacle,” most people instinctively say, “me.” Yet, they don’t know what that “me” is or what it means. It’s not your physical body that causes the lack in your life. It’s not your mind, per se. It’s your subconscious identity. I've said it a bazillion times, “You’ll not have it on the outside until you first have it on the inside.” Let me ask you a question. If you have heard me say that, think back to the first time. How long ago was that? A month ago, a year, three years? You MUST get your mind around this and you must take action on this if you want to create a better life. Your circumstances aren’t going to magically change until you change, so this episode is a reminder that you have to BE more before you can ever have more in life and that pertains to all areas of your life. Ok, so what are you biggest problems? They most likely fall into one of three areas: Health, Wealth, Relationships. Before I offer you a solution or thoughts about solving your problems, you must, and I repeat MUST, understand that there is a part of your identity (brain) that will try to prevent you for changing your circumstances. In this episode I’m going to talk about the dichotomy of wanting more and life and self sabotaging yourself at the same time. Transformational Takeaway: Your identity keeps you trapped in thought…and the only way out is action of some kind to see the error of the thought identity keeping you trapped. Ep 259: What Are You Worth?

Start Your Transformation NowWe have talked for seven weeks now about identity and we have talked about some external things and ways of BEing but what about internally? What about your self-worth as it relates to your identity? What is your intrinsic worth? What do you think you are worth? Do you determine your self-worth on your own knowing of yourself or do you and have you let the world determine your worth and value? Does society’s perceptions of you help you determine your own value and worth? I talk about a lot of things in this episode but I also talk about being gay and how that completely annihilated my own sense of self-value and worth earlier in life. I learned from my parents what my value was and was not in the world and the same probably goes for you as well. Like I asked before, do you determine your own worth, or does the world do it for you, and, if you said you do it yourself, as you 100% certain of that? The world overall, as a whole will teach you to find little value in yourself because people can only find value in you based on the value they can find in themselves. And, most people struggle with self-worth issues.I want to go deep inside you, at least with a question: How do you FEEL about yourself? Not what do you think of yourself but how do you feel about yourself?Transformational Takeaway: How you feel about yourself is the degree to which you value yourself and if you don’t feel good about yourself it’s time to raise your self-worth.Mentioned Resources:EPISODE 252: Who Are You?EPISODE 253: What Makes You Matter?EPISODE 254: The Patterns Of Your LifeEPISODE 255: Do You Value Your Value?EPISODE 256: How Your Identity Is A Self-Fulfilling ProphecyEPISODE 257: Your Identity Confirms ItselfEPISODE 258: What is my message?Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 258: What is my message?

Start Your Transformation NowEvery single thing you do is a “message.” Of course, it’s a behavior too, but beyond that, it’s a message as to who you are and how you think. And, who you think you are is your identity. The focus of this episode is about the imprint or lack thereof that you’re going to leave in and on the world. When you think of MLK what do you think of? Who do you think he was? What was his subconscious identity? Look at MLK. We know his analytical message, but what was his “message?” Everyone has and carries a message, and what is yours? Your life in itself is a message and what does your message say? In my opinion, the most powerful message you can share and live is a message of service to others. When we serve others and do it at the highest measure of ourselves then something magical happens. If you look at many of the great and most impactful people of the last 100 years, the majority became known that way because of the footprint they left on humanity. What would your subconscious identity be if you served at your highest ability? How would you think, feel and act? Who is that person who lives their life in service to others? What does that say about them? Transformational Takeaway: If you lived your life in service to others, what would be the identity of that person, meaning your identity?Mentioned Resources:EPISODE 252: Who Are You?EPISODE 253: What Makes You Matter?EPISODE 254: The Patterns Of Your LifeEPISODE 255: Do You Value Your Value?EPISODE 256: How Your Identity Is A Self-Fulfilling ProphecyEPISODE 243: Understanding One Of Your Super PowersEPISODE 227: The Three Biggest Problems In Relationships And How To Solve Them!EPISODE 216: charity water: An Extraordinary Story Of Service And HumanityLet's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 257: Your Identity Confirms Itself

Start Your Transformation NowHave you ever fully realized that your primary relationships are a reflection of you?The title of this episode is “Your Identity Confirms Itself” and it does that by moving you into relationships that confirm who you think you are.Let me give you the best example to demonstrate that we engage in relationships that confirm who we are.Let’s say that someone believes they are not worth a whole lot and they hold and have low self-value. As a result, they will seek to be in relationships that confirm this low self-value.An example is this: Ever seen someone in an abusive relationship? And, then after some time they leave the relationship, and you think, “Wow, I’m so glad they got out of that bad relationship.” And…a few months later, you hear they are back in a relationship, and someone says, “I don’t get it, this new person is as bad to them as the last person.”Why does this happen? It happens because our relationships confirm to us who we think we are, and the point of this episode is to take it one step further and have you look at your own relationship alignments.A person who thinks they are not worth a lot and deserves abuse will attract someone who does not value others a lot and abuses them. The abused attract abusers and abusers attract those who want to be abused. Why? Two aligned identities. One person sees themself as valueless and the other sees people as valueless and together, they are the perfect match. So, in your own life…the more aligned the identities in your closet relationships, the stronger and better the relationship will be. You may not be in an abusive relationship, but you do the exact same behavior in areas of your own life.If you want better relationships, further explore your own identity and your values and engage in relationships that support your own self-value.Transformational Takeaway: Your relationships will only be as strong as the alignment of identities.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 256: How Your Identity Is A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Start Your Transformation NowWe’ve all heard it a bazillion times from our parents,”Live up to your potential.” How often do you think, “I could do so much more in life? I could be more. I could have more, but for some reason, something stops me. No matter what I do, I keep failing and falling short of what I want.” Many of us can relate to the above. As a kid, my parents often berated me for not living up to my potential. I often got in trouble for my grades in math. I made As and Bs in all my other subjects, but I struggled with math. My dad often chastised me for not “living up to my potential” in math and school. Well, as I talk about in this episode, it had nothing to do with my intelligence or potential. My challenges in school were related to my subconscious identity. And, it does not matter if it’s school, our body, health, money, or relationships…all of these life areas are bound not by our potential but by our self-image. You have the potential to pretty much have anything you want in life, and if you don’t have it, it’s not because you’re not good enough, smart enough, or whatever, it’s because it’s not in your subconscious identity. If you want more in life, you must be more subconsciously. However you “see yourself” subconsciously, rest assured that will play out over and over in your life like a self-fulfilling prophecy unless you change your mental programming. Transformational Takeaway: Before you can have whatever you want in your life, you must first have it in your mind.Mentioned Resources:EPISODE 255: Do You Value Your Value?Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 255: Do You Value Your Value?

Start Your Transformation NowIn this episode I share a story about Sam Wolf and Phillip Phillips. Sam came in 5th place on American Idol, and Phillip came in 1st. They both have an extraordinary voice. One won the show, the other did not. How come?Of course there are many reasons, but one of the main reasons is how they saw themselves inside…Their self image. This demonstrates a point that I’ll be talking about on a future episode and that point is this: It’s not a matter of living up to your potential, like our parents drill in our heads. It’s a matter of living up to a higher identity for ourselves. Our lives match our internal identity, and we can never out perform our subconscious identity. You may already know that, but in this episode I talk about what you create, the value you create and how much you value your value.Notice the statement, “Valve your value.”That single concept is hugely overlooked and one that keeps a lot, if not most people, poor. The greater your value in yourself and for yourself, the greater your prosperity will be in life. For decades I did what most of us do. I did not have a high degree of value for myself, my work and my gifts. And, as a result I sold myself short and lived as a “just enougher.” What that means is I lived my life with just enough to cover all my bills and a little left over, but I was in no way getting ahead in life.Years back I realized how I was selling myself short, but it wasn’t my fault. I learned to do that. I learned to have low self esteem, self value and self worth, and as a result, I did not “value my value.”When we value our value, that can change our life.Transformational Takeaway: Like me, Sam Wolf or Mother Theresa, we get in life what we create, and what we create comes from the degree to which we value our value.Mentioned Resources:Sam Woolf & Phillip Phillips – “Home & Raging Fire” Finale – American Idol Season XIIIEPISODE 213: Bruce Lipton – Warning, This Episode Is Not For Everyone.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family.
