Best of 2024 - Champions - Loren Montgomery, Head Coach, Bixby HS (OK)
Today on our Best and Favorites of 2024, we look back at our Champions Series presented by Signature Championship Rings. We highlighted over 40 state championship programs in 2024 including the Bixby Spartans led by Loren Montgomery. The Spartans won the 2024 Oklahoma 6A State Championship in dramatic fashion. Down by one point after scoring a touchdown on their overtime possession, the Spartans went for two and converted for the walk-off win 43-42 With the win, Bixby won its third straight gold ball after moving up to 6A-I. The Spartans have also won seven straight championships and 10 titles over the past 11 seasons.We will certainly be calling Coach Montgomery to have him back on the Champions Series in 2025.
