Talosan: A Micronation with a Constructed Language

Talosan is a constructed language created by Robert Ben Madison, who declared his bedroom as an independent sovereign nation. Talosan has an enormous vocabulary of 120,000 words and draws heavily from romance languages. The language has undergone spelling reforms and has its own grammar and lexicon. Despite its initial weirdness, Talosan has settled into being a romance-inspired language. The language is primarily used by the community surrounding the micronation. Although prosody and intonation are important aspects of language, they can be challenging to describe and learn, as there isn't a lot of information available.
